Up late monitoring the storms in AR and talking with my son.
Wind is picking up here.
Hair cut this morning, I think she forgot she had my appointment but quickly got me done.
Then to harbor freight, first time in the new store here (probably been here a year). Bought some wire ties. Looked at welders, they must have 20 models, had no idea what I was looking at.
Costco run for gas and then they drew almost $200 out of my credit card buying stuff.
Once home I tackled the mailbox alert that quit working over thanksgiving. Took unit off mailbox, brought in house. Tried all their instructions, nothing worked, it would not show up on my WiFi list. Emailed the company again. They called me right away, but since not on my list, it went to VM. VM said unplug, push reset and plug in, release reset when blue light comes on. I tried the indoor hub, the outdoor unit, nothing. Then I decided to check power cable to indoor unit (it stopped working when the indoor unit fell off the stand, and it pulled unit inside the box out of its socket). Turns out the UPS it was plugged into was off. How I didn’t notice other things off, I don’t know.
Anyways, once I seated the chip and got it power, now works. So had to install outdoor unit on side of mailbox, and hang onto the bank edge as cars zoomed by me.
Now to set up new church computer.
