Buppies, does your 2500 have the air bags in the rear?
My first Ram 1500 had the air bag suspension, very helpful when towing an rv.
Current Ram has standard coil spring suspension, handles very nicely on new Firestone LE3s.
You have the very latest model, I'm always surprised how quiet it is in my truck, even this 2014 I have now.
Very little wind noise and no squeaks or rattles.

Gale, prayers for you and your neighbors. Tornadoes are so dangerous. They say over 50 dead, just awful.

Thank. Mayfield is an old town of brick buildings in bad shape. FB is saying at least one nursing got hit.

55 going to 72, winds up to 40, hopefully some rain tonight...got a brief shower late yesterday.

So sorry for your troubles, Buppies...you've had a turn long enough.

Toppop, hope you feel better and get the medicines right.

Kyle, congrats on beating the flywheel...I have no idea what half of what you did means. Glad you can "rescue" old equipment.

Spent a little time trying to get the remainder of the fallen tree trunk across the creek...20 foot section. I had a fallen pine to clean up from the same storm, so cut it in 3 6 ft sections to use as rollers, hoping to pull the log across them once cut from the stump. Studied all the approaches, and the angles and just couldn't find a way to get close enough without risking getting the tractor stuck...so I have a new walking bridge over the creek...based on the poop on top, the raccoons like it already. At least I cleaned up the pine and got the tractor back under shelter before the rain got me too wet.

Prayers for the tornado victims.

Drew my ram 4500 with 290000 miles still runs like a champ no wind noise. Dodge was always known to have little wind noise. The 2500 has factory air bags. It was what they called Ky Derby Edition

Good Morning.
It’s 41 and foggy with drizzle and rain forecast through the day. Winds supposed to pick up to 40kts as the temperature climbs to 60.

Yesterday went as I planned, went to airport and signed checks, took the little airplane for a nice ride with my mechanical contractor friend. Had lunch with him afterwards.
Did some chores afterwards, met youngest son at notary to transfer the Subaru he has been driving to him. In PA, you can gift a car to close relatives, it transfers with the registration and plates and there is no sales tax either. He wants to buy a new car, this way he can trade in the Subaru, reducing the taxable value of the new car, and transfer the plates, saving him some more $.
I was going to make some brackets to move the trash cans with the carryall, but that might not be necessary. Still might make something simple to get more ground clearance, but it works as it is.

Not sure what is on the docket for today.

I’m not sure if it’s just the now we have better reporting, but it sure seems like we have a lot more severe weather destroying buildings and property than we used to.

Good morning, low temp 32°F and the high should be 48. Wind ESE 24 mph. Rain
High winds predicted for later today. Sure hope they stay ESE.
We got a rainfall warning, a freezing rain warning and a 'special weather statement'. 40-55 mph winds coming later this afternoon. Ought to be interesting.

I got my breakfast down my neck a few minutes ago. I love P-nut butter sandwiches. Put it on about 1/4" thick.

Have a safe day all

Blustery to 30mph+ and temp falling like a rock, 85F yesterday, 35F tomorrow morning. I had the son get the fireplace ready to burn. It's sitting there waiting for a match.

Mostly, biking and wood splitting yesterday.....He man contest soon? :) You and Billy in silent competition?

Drew, I will give my wife extra kiss and hug, but I hope to make pancakes this morning if we have the ingredients.

I put the FEL back on the bigger tractor to move the haybales up front. My wife's uncle is buying them. The money will go into a "kitty" fund to buy parts to repair my friend's equipment.

Randy, have you ever tried to sew 40 oz pvc tarp material? They use it on hay disc cutter curtains. The material isn't crazy high, but the price of a complete curtain is $450 on up. Somebody could probably make a living if they could get the labor content to $200 or so.

Wife and kid are going shopping today. I'm going to put a new hazard relay in the old impala.

This Old Miller Roughneck: I got my dial bore gage out, and the normally trusty Teclock .0001" indicator (Japan) was sticking. I took off the back and got it moving again. Good enough for now. I haven't used it in years. Cylinder bore measured about .0015" over stock, about .001 taper, and about .0005 out of round. I believe it's within tolerance to just hone and put new rings in. These Kohlers recommend frequent oil changes, 25 hours in dusty conditions, they only hold a quart. Recommend straight 30 weight for above freezing conditions. I have figured out a possible easy way to fix the broken crankshaft end. I will make an adapter that will fit over the crank's tapered end, and provide a bushing hole to center the tools I will use to drill it out. I will have to step drill it, because I will be doing it by hand. So I might have to make multiple alignment adapters... I'm still worried about separating the engine from the welding end. It too, has a tapered end which drives the flange plate coupler. The below is all I have to go by as far as assembly detail.

Doug, you are at that "euphoric" phase, getting to fill up the barn with your stuff. Watch out, they get full fast. :)

Bupps and Topps, hope you guys are feeling better.

Drew, watch your back moving that rubbermaid shed.

Kyle, pancakes work too... and my job this morning is the small pieces. He gets the seven foot sections, they really aren't that heavy but challenging
if the wind is up. Like having your own body surfing board.

hang on to your hat Bill.

Thomas, the jam gets all over my beard and I cannot 'do' milk, so it is straight p-butter for me and water. I gotta use brown bread because there is no white.
