Good morning! 58 now and sunny. Near 79 later. Sounds like a nice day.

Split the trailer load of wood yesterday, redid the wood pile cover. Need to replace a couple of tarps. Now that the trailer is empty, time to fill it back up from one of several pile of cut wood at the edge of the woods and split some more.

Wife started mowing while I was playing with the wood pile. When I got done, I dropped the splitter off the tractor and helped finish the mowing.

She made pasta and shrimp for supper….so no road trip for pizza and beer. Supper was good.

Not sure what I will get into today….something for sure…

GoodforaYear should be on the side of their tires. Any vehicle I have ever bought with Goodyear tires has left me with a negative opinion of that brand. It seems a year is about what they are good for, even the premium versions.

Autumn biding it's time to arrive here too, a very pleasant time of year to get around the fields each morning and see the trees slowly adjust.

Kyle, you are going to need a much bigger house if you keep succumbing to temptation at those yard sales.

Psst LS, great advice for David's laminate, my only reservation is that running laterally will be too easy for him, he will have it down in no time at all. How about suggesting diagonal runs to keep him busy for a couple of extra days this week ?

70F mostly cloudy @ 12:15, sun making feeble attempts to make an appearance. High supposed to hit 79F.

Forgot to wash out pre filter for Cub last night before I hit the rack, so will have to do that first thing.

Also on agenda for today:

Finish mowing down around the house on west side.

Mow on north side of pole barn.

Transplant Stella D'Oro's to east planting bed.

Take used fluids/filters and greasy waste paper up to shop.

See what else comes up.

Actually diagonal always looks best. The large tile in our farm house was run diagonal and the wood flooring in the 150 year old church was run diagonally.

61F cloudy.

Started blowing leaves 6:30am 3 hours later took break headed to town for fuel and critter than had lunch,another 3 hours blowing leaves Mrs. said "shut it of no more" guess I wasn't the boss of the job.

Not much plan this evening...dinner,watch some football,movie early to bed.
