MB in a British car should solve their electrisland problems. Bentley owned by Volkswagen Rolls owned by BMW I believe. Interesting who owns who

Good evening all. 75F for the start, light breeze, clear sky. Moderate wind with brisk gusts, few clouds, and high temp was 95F, HI 106F and DP 72F. Bike ride this morning, several of normal crew gone to RAGBRAI, I was done at 50 miles. Did get nap in, and installed bedroom TV, and got remote reprogrammed for new TV. Wife happy. Made some decisions on new computer and need to get TV tuner on order.

Kyle green was the color of 100 octane Avgas. quite the difference in gases are you adding stabilizer to the gas?

Car show was a success, 232 cars and $2700 raised for Friends of St Judes children’s hospital. We are all quite tired and ready for a shower and bed.

nice dinner out with school board members, weather was great, vegan black bean burgers and carrot dogs.
Plus a ton of other stuff but I'd never seen a carrot dog before. I wasn't about to eat it so don't know if it was a pretend carrot or not.
Sure looked real.

Carrots steamed just right have the exact consistency as hot dogs. With the right spices it would be hard to tell the difference except for the amount of salt in meat hot dogs. We had carrot dogs for the 4th.

I saw where "Forks Over Knives" had improved their granola and no longer use molasses as a sweetener but use blended dates and applesauce. But they wanted $9 for a 12 oz bag.
I just made 4 batches of different flavored granola in my dehydrator using their base of applesauce, blended dates and oats
1. Very Berry - added blended strawberries with the dates and applesauce and oats and some freeze dried strawberries.
2. Chocolate - added cocoa and cocao nibs
3. Cinnamon Raisin
4. Banana coconut

Nope - mostly on hold until weather turns cooler ... unless we get a stretch of rainy days and I don't have anything else on the menu.

Morning all!
63 here with another day of rain. It has been so wet here this July that I have visible water on the ground in areas that aren't even usually wet!
I can only mow the high ground if and when the sun pops out long enough.

Yesterday was the first nice day (all sun) that we've had in a long time.
Worked on rebuilding and adding more footage to a deck at my cousin's. Got the main beam built and set in place. Will be a big project that has to wait for funds to continue.

Wife and I went shopping and bought a new tractor. (see pic)

Had a nice popup rain yesterday...no hard wind or lightning, but a good downpour...I just got back from a long walk when it hit...but wife was in the garden and got soaked.

Randy, congratulations on your fundraising...that's a lot of cars.

Don, breakfast cereal in the stores is kinda expensive, but $9 for 12 oz is pretty high...sounds like you make a good mix.

Phil, I like your tractor...with all of your rain, it's a good thing it's a cab model.
