RNG; "Got the rebar cut up yesterday, and found an old barrel blank I can drill out and use as a post pounder."
If you pour some water around the spot where the rebar is penetrating the ground IF there are any sparks the water will kill them, also it will make pounding the rebar in easier.

Overslept this morning, so a mad dash (shower and dressed and a 50 mile drive to work). I'd turn off my alarm yesterday morning since I'd awakened and got up a good 20-25 minutes before it would have gone off...forgot to reset it last night

Steady rain (GOOD!!)
47° right now...high in the upper 50's today...

We'd love to move...get out of this high tax super left state. Maybe in a couple years...

Mo, maybe you can leave a tap dripping and the cat will get it right from the source. I have seen cats that will drink straight out of the tap.

Good Morning
52 going to 62 and foggy with rain on and off all day.

Yesterday was a day of organizing and catch-up. Son wanted me to come down with forks on the tractor and lift a pallet off his truck. I put the forks and a 1000lb counterweight on and headed down. Loader just bypassed, and wouldn’t lift it until we partially unloaded it. After I got it off the truck, he told me it was 3500 lbs before we off loaded some boulders. No wonder I couldn’t lift it, my loader is rated at 2400lbs.
Got a speaker off to FedEx to go to it’s new home, and picked up and organized getting ready for the next one.

Today will be a shop day, probably start with my shop vac which quit after I emptied it. It’s a Stihl branded WAP that’s been great for the last 20+ years, I’m not ready to replace it, so as long as I can get parts, I’ll fix it. Hopefully it’s something simple.
Grass is growing like crazy, looks like tomorrow will be mowing day looking at the forecast for the week.

Mostly, the picture of Aspen was in the winter and everything was snow covered.

Mornin all, Misty gray and somewhat warm, ended up feeling hot yesterday due to humidity.
Got the pols saw out to test out the extension for the M18 on some trees and honeysuckle.
Did a good job, used the smaller 5AH and had a bit left after about an hour.

Drew-my wife works with your church at one of the schools, they seem to have pretty good plans there with boarders and day students. Sorry your shoulder is hurting so much

Randy- anything you can do about sinus issues? my wife swears by coconut oil-bit she has issues with mold from growing up in a 1700's stone house

Eric- supersized parsnips? Moving is tough, and expensive. Wife wants to move in 10 years

Stay safe and be well

Before and after for one small honeysuckle clump:

My one cat, Buddy, gets in one of the bathroom sinks, turns on the water and gets a drink, only he doesn’t turn it off.

Ken, I have some sleep positions that make my sinus deal worse, if I sleep on my left side I ha e no problem.

46°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 68° today. Looks like we've entered a cooler pattern for the next week or so, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. More rain in there as well for this weekend, and maybe tomorrow.
