I try to stay up and ring in the new years........ But usually fall a sleep in my chair or give up about 11:00.Well, chores are done!
This is one of the few times I wish I had a bigger truck! Quite a bit of stuff (mostly cardboard) went to the dump, as well as a couple old appliances (air filter, and miscellaneous other items) that should have gone months ago. Pretty full load for a Tacoma!
Rest of the day...putter around a bit...maybe a movie or two.
Step Daughter is going to spend New Year's Eve with some friends, and she'll stay where she is tonight...good plan. I haven't stayed up to ring in the New Year's in several years and I don't expect tonight to be any different...same with the wifey
If the forecast holds, we're getting 5-7 inches of snow this weekend...I could enjoy that!
When the grandkiddos were younger we would look forward to having them over for new years so their parents could go out.
The boys are old enough to stay home alone now. So the only time they are over for the night is if their parents decide they want some piece and quiet
