Good morning! 69˚ heading to 91˚ fog in the low areas this morning.
Thanks for the info on the battery tester. I saw this tester on Amazon: Amazon.com: Quicklynks BA11 Battery Tester 1 ~ 2 Cold Cranking Amps 12V Battery Load Tester Directly Test Battery Status: Automotive
It looked pretty idiot proof, and I'm suspecting the cold cranking test listed is the same a load test. Right?
All you need is one like this.
Will test anything you will need to check. Except for a hydrometer. That will check if the acid is good in battery. Many batteries are sealed today and cannot check it.

Morning all. Decent night of sleep, have phone alarms set for all the medication times. I have medicine bottles set up in order of taking, next one gets moved to the front. It looks like a checker game, but all white pieces.

Starting to eat a little. Wonder how much weight i lost by not eating.

Hope everyone else has a good day.

The low this morning was 44*, yesterday high was 80*. The next few days are going be cooler with a good chance of rain. Today's high is going to be in the low 70* with overnight lows in the the high 30*.

The weekly trip to town and help a neighbor with some stuff if it doesn't rain are plans for today.

Hope everyone has a nice day.

Thanks everyone, lots of elbow grease yes but still ended up with new paint. It is a Marlin Taurus powered by a (new) Chevy 454 and the drive is a Berkeley added a rudder to help it steer at low speed and hydraulic/electric trim. Ended up only using the original gas peddle and windshield. Unfortunately didn't make it into the water until last week so short season this year. Have not opened it up yet with the new motor but my son told me he had it up to 50 when trimmed at about 4500 rpm.

My next project is a Ford 2N, I think 1939 as soon as I can get it out of the storage shed I will post some photos. It was my uncles hasn't run in years. Will be looking for recommendations from the vast amount of knowledge here👍🏻.
Have mother in law visiting from the sunshine state until she hears how her condo made out in Bonita Springs, I know there is no power and roads are a mess but she is safe that's what counts.

A friend had a black Marlin jet boat like that one, it was a small block and ran about 50. It had great manners. My Sleekcraft 19' jet was a lot of fun, not as fast as my Donzi but still sitting that low at near 70 feels like 100.

57°F and foggy this morning, going up to 88° today. Looks like we're back to the "around 90-ish" temps for the next week or so here.

Nice looking work there, DABSGT.

70°F and no rain.

Mow the dogs' area this morning, but haven't thought beyond that.

Be safe
Have a great day.

I was just looking at that one also. Thanks.

100 Amp load isn't really high enough to test an automotive battery. The Harbor Freight tester I posted yesterday goes to 500 Amps, and has worked for everything I've used it on. Very inexpensive, especially if you use a coupon.
