Good afternoon, Cloudy 76˚F
A before and after remote campsite #23 clearing. Temps were in the 70's and instead of wet with sweat we were wet from rain. We worker through it and the last hour the skies started clearing. We finished the 25 campsites in three weeks and next week we will be heading back to the trails.

It rained .18" at the house. Bird must be squeezing the clouds before sending them South.

I sprung for the fancy one. Probably way more capability than I'll ever use, but better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Like a lot of other things in life...

NICE!! Amazing the prices today this scope 20 yrs ago would have been a fortune!!

Happy Happy! Joy Joy!
Floors are done and look great! Just need to clean up the mess and wait for the new furniture saturday.
Furnace was just a stuck one way valve letting water circulate even though heat was off.
And the best news of all is we have a working air conditioner/heat pump!!!
After numerous phone calls we found out the book and install instructions are wrong. We finally got thru to someone well versed in this model and he stated he had the same issue and fixed it by removing the white wire from the outside unit and jumping two leads in the thermostat. Instant success! These two units are recommended to be used together! You would think someone would fix the manual or publish the problem and repair!
Stay safe and healthy everyone!

Sorry to hear about your uncle Paul.

Paul the covid really moved fast in your Uncle. Condolences to your family.
My BIL is in his 10th day after diagnosis and 12 days after a family gathering where at least 10 people were close to him. He continues to have no symptoms and no one else has symptoms, a few have been tested but tested negative. The different effects of this virus on people is really bewildering.

Rick, have you been able to evaluate the chain weed eater blade?

Buckeye, fun to watch your project move along, hope it works perfectly when you fire it up. Springs, circlips and ball bearings always did
me in...found that egg cartons made good holders for parts. I was initially wondering why you would fix a big box disposable mower; then looked carefully at
the picture and saw a nice fabricated deck; clearly a better model and worth fixing.
.

Just got home in the nick of time. Severe storm warning. Dumped .7” rain from gauge which included the .5” from yesterday. Hear the thunder, getting dark.
Mower was from dealer. They did sell smaller version of it in box store with stamped deck. I wanted the larger welded deck.
ZT is hydraulic steering, and easier to hold than a wheel. Definitely easier on my arms.

. Their gas had gone up to 1.85...about a dime more than last week when my wife filled up.

BEF, that transmission looks like a nuke or a space shuttle segment to my untrained eyes.
.

Costco gas was $2.05 this morning.
They just extended storm warning till 7:45. Deep thunder, still to the west. Phone giving lightning alerts. Getting windy.

If I hadn’t done the axle a couple years ago I probably wouldn’t have attempted this repair, but it’s really not hard.
