Good morning! Looks like I’m the most northern location, at the moment without freezing temps.
33 and clear skies.
Nice grapple BEF, just make sure you have some sort of guard so a branch does not damage your tractor.

I got lucky, not much to do. Heat of black driveway melted most of the wet snow. Looks like 4 inches on the back porch, seems like less out front.
Very pretty, stuck to everything. Sun today will melt most of it. Yes, a little later I'll try out the snowblower, mostly wet slushy snow.

Spray your snowblower chute, fan and auger with non-stick (I use PAM) or something similiar...that slush can clog the chute pretty quickly

-5F clear sky upper 20's for high.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Little critters...birds squirrels 6 turkeys... enjoying there double helping of breakfast and both kittens setting on kitchen window windowsill chattering while there tails snap back and forth.
Plans for today...fill feeder, mid afternoon push snow banks back beginning of driveway maybe other than that not sure.

Enjoy the day all.

Thomas has great karma with animals, they seem to parade by his home. If you put out food, critters will find you.
problem is food is food and they don't care who you put it out for. Nothing like finding a wolverine on your back porch.

headed out to play ever so gently in snow. I pushed it easily with pusher blade, but snowblower will chuck it on lawn instead of right along
path where it will turn into an ice ramp tomorrow morning. Though probably will do that anyway. And I hate using chemicals to melt snow.
Sooner or later it will get into my apples...
Roy, good idea, I have a can of silicone spray in the barn. Gives me an excuse for going slithering around in the snow in the golf cart.

Good morning All. 17 and clear this morning. Headed to 36 with full sun all day.

Toppop-be careful “shoveling “ all that snow!

Hawkeye-all the best to you on the upcoming transition. Prayers for healing for your family members.

Congratulations on the new grapple BEF. I will be looking forward to your reports on its performance.

LS- I love your son’s videos. Very nice garage build. My most cherished memories are those of projects that my Dad and I tackled together.

Sodamo- the new carport looks great. Where would you rate the Versatube kit in terms of quality, clarity of instruction, overall sturdiness?

I’ve got to start writing notes to myself to remember all the comments I want to make! I’m sure I missed something .

Prayers to all in need.

Have a good start to the weekend!

Frank

RNG, did you sleep well last night after all that trench work ? I know how it feels when your back doesn't want to do any more bending, but a stubborn head insists on carrying on. Your problem is having too much good weather to get on with things - try asking Alexa to play some pretend rain today.

With a couple hundred feet of open trench and 6 @ 6' x 1' empty post holes, Eric, the last thing I need right now is rain, any kind of rain. Fortunately the 10-day forecast is still showing sunny and mild weather. With any luck, some of it will make its way half way 'round the world to you in the very near future!
