-4 right now...high in the mid-20's today...

The snow from Tuesday had drifted over the drive and walks due to stout winds on Wednesday, so I cleared the drive and walks again after work. Then a tasty ham and egg omelet for supper...that really hit the spot!

Good morning, I would give you a brief summery of today's weather, but it's too depressing. The good news is that next week the sun may be thinking of coming out of hiding for almost half a day.

That is more really nice woodwork LS, you have a good eye for design too

RNG, did you sleep well last night after all that trench work ? I know how it feels when your back doesn't want to do any more bending, but a stubborn head insists on carrying on. Your problem is having too much good weather to get on with things - try asking Alexa to play some pretend rain today.

Less than a month to go Hawkeye ! It sounds like someone in the HR department recently had a stroke and their brain is slowly learning how to again retrieve words. It must have been really frustrating for them to have to write voluntary "career transition" instead of "retirement". :)

good morning all. Well, yes, I got snow, it's all white out, very pretty under outside lights. I'm guessing about two inches, but
the snowblower will be fired up. Cold and sunny today, but sun will melt everything on driveway except in shade. That will turn to ice, going down to 20 tonight, coldest of winter. My biggest concern is tree damage, can't tell til sun comes out.

power went off at some point last night, slept through it, only know because clock flashing on stove.
32 degrees going up to 40 today.

Hawkeye, great news and very exciting.
Buckeye, hope you are feeling better.
Jay, any chance of having one of your kids come for a visit to help out? You have a lot of challenges there, be well.
David continues to impress with his construction talents, fun to watch and learn.
Eric, hope things dry out there soon. You must be pretty water logged by now.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 9ー with clear skies this morning. Heading to 35ー with lots of sun. Rekey of new lock did not work. Was Lowes yesterday. Buy one key get 1 free. Bought 4 keys. Since all doors now have some kind of electronic lock I should not need them very often. Going to make a Rural King run today. For what I do not know. Maybe it's a cabin fever thing. Then back to conserve energy.
Cardinal, was dancing around feeder. Keep trying to get male and female at same time. No luck yet.

Buckeye, glad to here you are feeling better.

Buppies, sorry to hear you are going to need more cutting.

RNG, hope to get my blade welding fixture done this weekend. I have about 200' of band saw blade that came with my metal cutting bandsaw 40 years ago. I welded up a bunch at work when the shop was 3 miles from my home. I am down to 1 blade. Hope it last until I get fixture done.

Drew, 2" would not get done except at back door. Door only has 1 1/2" clearance to patio bricks. Sassy can handle 2". It's 2 1/2" that cause belly rub. Enjoy using you snowblower.

LS, very nice tables.

David, hope WX cooperates with your carport project.

Hawkeye, after next month you will have enough time to get your deck installed. Prayers for your FIL.

Jay, hope DW's arm gets better. Be Careful on the ice.

Thomas, squirrels have plenty of food from feed birds drop on ground. Should be a good corp of young ones this spring.

Good Morning All.

Good morning, a warm night 0°F and the high they claim will be 28. Wind SW 11 mph. 40% chance of flurries, 60% tonight.

Between the tractor and the furnace, I used 670 US gallons of fuel oil. You guessed it, tax time for me. Most of the package is done, but I still need a couple of pieces of paper, then it is off to the accountant to finalize and e-file.

Have a safe day all

25 clear and windy, going to 39. No snow...eastern end of county got a few flakes.

Dawn glows on the horizon as early as 6am now.

BEF, sorry you're sick...nothing like a shiny new grapple to make you feel better, though, right?

Took my wife to the post office and a dump run to the other transfer station nearest us...so we could go for a little sightseeing drive along some roads we haven't driven in a while. Had a nice ride together.

I got lucky, not much to do. Heat of black driveway melted most of the wet snow. Looks like 4 inches on the back porch, seems like less out front.
Very pretty, stuck to everything. Sun today will melt most of it. Yes, a little later I'll try out the snowblower, mostly wet slushy snow.
