RNG, that's a big tank there. I'd be tempted to buy a couple of those concrete stops they use in parking lots. Get them close and attach them to the 2 feet on the bottom of the tank. Almost anything short of a full slab will still settle and move. The advantage of the parking lot stop is, you can lift one side at a time and throw a little sand under them to re-level them in the future. I'm guessing that you might want that tank to have one end ever so slightly higher to help the liquid pool at the pickup tube end. (For your liquid bottle filler).

Priceless! Thanks, Kyle:thumbsup:

Is python programming for a chip or is that a new language?
.

Python is an object oriented interpreted language. Been around since 1991, so that is almost forever. We are using it for automated software testing. I’ve used it at various times before. I will be writing some smoke tests, testing basic functions through an automated nightly run via Jenkins CI. Will test software written for an FPGA based system.
I’m looking forward to getting back into more software development. Right now my work time is spoken for 120%, but I’d rather be busy.

Getting a cold. Sore throat, etc. everything I don’t need. And I was fine Tuesday when I saw my Dr.

Retrieved my wife from VA yesterday. Her dad having memory issues but overall much better. He Already fell or slid down once trying to get out of bed without help. He can’t remember to use the call button. Couldn’t think of who I was. Still pretty confused. When we left he tried to get up by himself and they had to grab him.
My wife and her sister from NC will take turns going down and helping. Her mom is in good health.
At least he is close, just about 15 min from their house.

2 accidents on I81 forced us onto the back roads going down. Then another accident coming back forced another bypass. I81 is awful with accidents anymore.

Good morning, temp is all of 23°F and going up to 28. Wind WSW 13 mph. 60% chance of flurries.

We got 3" of snow overnight. The tractor block heater is turned on and I will go out and plow today.

That is all that is on my plate for today. After plowing, energy conservation.

Have a safe day all

good morning all. Chilly 27 degrees out, heater blazing away in greenhouse, keeping it around 64 in there overnight.
a little warmer today, up to 58 and then rain tonight.

Bill enjoy your snow plowing and then come in and get extra warm.

I'm going to spend a little time on second floor organization, primarily doing a triage on a huge pile of xmas decorations that I have no need for. Goodwill said they would take it all, xmas stuff sells year round. Not going to lug anything heavy either...just throwing stuff in trash bags and will get someone else to take it down to my truck. It's a long hike out to the parking lot and that's how I messed up my back several months ago. At some point I should learn...

Nut orchard on other side of tree line is covered in onion grass six inches tall.
Sunny day today, might very slowly run the JD mower in that area, if only to get some fresh air.

26 right now...a lot more pleasant then the minus 11 yesterday at this time! High in the mid-30's today.
I cleared the walks yesterday...didn't do a great job, but the powder atop the frozen snow is off. Then the snow blower's batteries needed recharging.
I'll hit the drive today sometime.
I also want to visit my neighbor's. The wife (50 or 51, I think) has breast cancer which has spread. I don't know all the details or her time left, but we want to support her as much as we can

I see weather forecast for end of week is super cold, 24 here, which is where some varieties of flowers and shrubs get unhappy.
That means even colder weather up North. I'm betting we'll get through this winter here without any snow at all.
You never know though, if the incoming cold air catches the end of some precip and the world turns white. And the cars go in the ditches...

nice to do Roy.

Coffee taste extra good this morning. 30 °F with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 39 °F with sun in PM. MRI was OK. But ears are still ringing after being in machine for 1 hour and all the banging. They even gave me ear protection. No report for up to a week. This is annual MRI for Prostate. Breakfast at noon was good. After not eating for 18 hours. Cable and internet were on when I got home. No plans for today. Maybe some NASCAR in afternoon.

RNG, $$$$$. But it would get the job done. Can your 3PH handle that much weight?

Buckeye, sounds like your FIL has good help. Hope he continues to improve.

Check, I have similar wear for both dogs when temperatures get below 20 °F. But neither one will wear the booties.

Don, seed potatoes in February. Maybe June here.

Drew, Oh Fudge, I haven't heard that in years. Both parents used it in front of use kids. I see some overnight temperatures here in the low teens this weeks. Hope that will be end of cold spell.

Kyke, if you use Weather Underground calendar you can see what temperatures were years ago and average by going out to next year.

Phil, nice flower.

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.

31 going to 53.

Jay, great news on the grouse. I love them but rarely see them. I used to hunt them quite a bit up in the mountains.

Thomas, sounds like you are getting covered up in deer.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Good Morning All.

Glad you got the MRI over with.

Thanks for the weather underground tip. I looked at last year and see that the Mar 5th freeze is what killed my early planted tomato plants.

Coffee is really good this morning. I gave my wifey a big valentines card that said "I love you a Latte".

I can't open the black squirrel pic for some reason.

Thomas, did I read it right? 60lbs/day? wow!

Yes Bird, headed to 73F today, but still cloudy and cool right now.

Priceless! Thanks, Kyle:thumbsup:

I was thinking you should get most of the prep work done, then have a number of airhead parties with a few helper/friends each weekend for a number of weekends.

Some food and brew as motivational tools.

I like the 1 cu yard concrete dump trailer idea too. You just have to have someone tow it behind your F250 while you and a helper keep working the pad.

Good morning. It was 53° here and very foggy. Our high today is expected to be 78°. It was 32° Friday a.m., 42° yesterday a.m.

I left first thing yesterday and drove up to the Hill Country for a funeral of a long time friend. It was a graveside ceremony at the Family Cemetery on top of a bluff overlooking two canyons. The ranch is about midway between Hunt and Medina, adjoining the 6000 acres our trail ride camp is on. I got back, to our ranch, at 7 p.m. and still had to feed, etc.

This afternoon will probably be an energy conservation time and watch the Daytona 500.

RNG .. 1/2 yard of concrete weighs about 1850# plus the 232# mixer weight. That mixer would sure make the job easier if the weight isn't too much. When we built the house, at the ranch, we had the Propane Co. bury our 1000 gallon tank. There's only an access hatch above ground 18" diameter and about 8" high.

Kyle .. our local NWS forecast shows nothing lower than the high 30's for next two weeks. It did get down to 32°, for about an hour on Valentines Day.

Ron .. glad you got thru your MRI okay ... hope you get positive results. Why does breakfast always taste so great after a fast?

Hope everyone has a pleasant Sunday.

Prayers to all.

Good Morning!!!! 51F @ 6:30AM. Partly cloudy. High 67F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Yesterday's gun show: Never saw so much overpriced JUNK in my life. Did pick up some practice ammo, though, at cheaper than range prices. Got to Home Depot only to find out they were sold out of 3/4" gas pipe, and had to go to the Oroville one again. What a mad house!

Still have a little digging to do to get ready for the trenching machine today, but I don't think that'll take too long as the area has been dug up before. I just hope I didn't put too many rocks back in the hole.:confused2:

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Re; unhappy flowers. Can you cover them with a sheet or something, that will keep the frost off them.

"and the cars go in the ditches", the tow truck drivers rub their hands in glee!
