Red: that one looks a bit hokey to me and having the extra options in my opinion is asking for problems. you are only going to be hanging for up to 5 minutes per day so get a heating pad or hot water bottle if you like that better or other options for heat.

I can touch my toes fairly easily, but when i've used the Teeter up with the pull pin release down there next to my ankles it wasn't that easy and not a great method for getting on and off an inversion table. it's $299 so as I mentioned if you can't find a nice used one the $429 version has all the bells and whistles and it's comfortable and a lot cheaper than medicine or surgery.

depends on how active your craigslist and offer up is, but I can usually find a nice used invertalign for $200 or less within a month here. i don't do the book of faces, but if you do maybe their marketplace might have something.

the $40 one might work, but honestly I could have had free ones and chose to spend $150 for a 2 year old invertalign and i probably saved $1000 just by not buying advil for the last 10-15 years not to mention i'm mostly pain free now. i'm really surprised I don't have kidney problems that i know of because I'd buy the 100 advil gel bottles every 2 weeks at Costco for years before I started hanging (like a bat some have mentioned).

good luck and i'm here if you have more questions.

Thanks, there's one of those on FB for sale right now.

Seems like most of 'em have u shaped cups for under the ankles, with foam rollers on top. They'd be easier to get out of if you get stuck upside down, but maybe a little too easy?

I gave my $20 inversion table a 40 cent upgrade using a (blue) pool noodle from the dollar store.

Very clever! I've got some dark gray pipe insulation about that size I'd be happy to send up, Terry, if that blue's a little too bright for ya!:D:laughing:

32°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 42° today.

Finally broke down last night and ordered a piece of equipment for my studio that I've been eyeballing for about a year now. It's the Line 6 Helix LT modeling processor. It's basically a digital preamp and effects unit that will allow me to digitally reproduce the tone of pretty much any guitar or bass amp ever made. Like the early Eddie Van Halen tone? There's already a preset for that. Even semi-obscure and unique sounds like the early Billy Sheehan bass tone (my all-time favorite bass tone) is in there ... and that was the bit that pushed me into it. I have the old electronic preamp from Pearce Electronics that the tone is based on, but it's in bad shape these days. I had a conversation with Billy last year about my old Pearce preamp, and he was urging me to try the Helix, as that's what he's using now, too. So, I'm finally going there. Looks like my home studio will be about 90% digital now. Looking forward to getting it.

Drew, the state of Illinois used to send us the renewal paperwork about three months in advance as a reminder that our plates were coming up for renewal. Then, they replaced that with just a postcard notice. A few years ago, they decided to stop that all together, as a means of cutting costs. The Wife and I both know when ours expire, so we generally remember in advance. The F-150 that we don't drive as much, though, catches us off guard once in awhile. The general practice here is that they will issue a warning up to 30 days past the expiration. After that, you'll probably get a ticket. They also add an additional $20 charge to the renewal after 30 days as well.

Nice picture, Eric. I use both metric and SAE in my job. Some of our bigger customers use metric measurements on their part drawings (John Deere, Case/New Holland, and Caterpillar, for starters). There are a lot of people here who seem deathly afraid of metric, and I've never understood why. It's so much easier to have one base system (base 10), than the SAE system, which is all over the place (base 12, base 3, base 1760, ...), not to mention fractions and their conversions to decimals.

Reloading is definitely not somewhere I'd trust myself doing conversions to metric, either. Even a small mathematical error could yield potentially dangerous results.

Up to 53° already, had lymphedema clinic this morning, kidney doc later. Wrapping my lower legs in custom fit padding does wonders, but makes me pee a lot. Sure has shrunk the fluid out though, after all these years.

You guys sure have strong feelings over these inversion tables! LOL

Buppies, I’m glad you’re improving and hope you get well soon.

I get relief from low back pain by standing straight up and stretching to one side and the other. Takes about five minutes a day.

I hope your day goes well, prayers.

Came with over 800 screws, but that didn’t count the roof panels.
As for battery charges - countless - I’ll have 3 chargers powered up.

Glad to read you refused the violated bags. They sure don’t stay soft very long.

One trick I’ve done with marginal fork loads. If I can lift just enough to clear the truck bed then I’ll drive out from under and lower load. Often, even if too heavy to lift I can still left enough to clear ground to move.
