Good day gents!
Looks like I have to replace the battery in my smaller tractor, it’s only 9 years old, what the heck?
That’s my spraying, towing, garbage wheeler mover and grandson driving tractor, so it needs to work for sure.
Last year I hardly got any mildew on the house and buildings, this year it’s already awful. I guess there’s no point in fighting it until March, too much rain and the sun angle is too low.
I got up and did some domestic chores and made some chicken salad and egg salad. Couldn’t decide which, so I did both.
Now I can’t decide if I want pork roast or chicken salad with my peas at lunch.
Decisions, decisions.

65°F and no rain

Off to Hilo town a bit later. Wife has eye Dr appointment, followup from previous surgery and check for next weeks. Run into Sears, lunch, brewery for a refill, PO on way home. Then some time up at the Cottage.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Brunch was really good, too much excellent food as usual and people we don稚 always see often. Nice time.

Trouble shooting the hot water heater not encouraging. About 99.9% sure computer board is toast. Replacing just that board is almost half the cost of a new unit. Then who knows if the computer was only problem?? A 2006 unit, so 13 years old. An outside unit so also gets weather, bugs, geckos, etc.

Decided to swallow the bullet and order a new one. This will be 2nd one of 4 bought same time.

Is this a tankless heater? We have a Noritz of about the same vintage that has been acting up. It is inside, garage, and has been intermittently shutting down and flashing a "90" code, which means a problem with the combustion chamber. We've had a repairman out twice but can't recreate the problem. It usually konks out during or right after my pm shower.Repairman is coming back today after talking to a factory engineer so we will see. Ours is propane,I would guess that yours is electric with all your system.

Did you check air intake and vent for any blockage David. They're very sensitive to that. Does yours give you error codes? One of our shut down, a few years ago, from mud dauber nests in the vent side. It was the one, on the guests side of the house, so didn't get used very often.

Thanks, I’ll check that again, but I had front cover off and didn’t see any. No error codes. I even hooked in the remote, but no codes there and it reported both water temp and good flow (a prime suspect). Power to computer board good @ 100 v, gfci test worked. No light on led which indicates a computer board problem. Several power on/off didn’t change that. Troubleshooting manual talked about reset but couldn’t find the buttons on my board and picture wasn’t same. The led is supposed to flash error codes and light up when getting power. Was getting power but led never lit up, hence conclusion.

Had some friends come over for games and dinner yesterday. Fun had by all. When they arrived, they asked if I was watching the Rose Bowl, I turned on the TV to watch and did not find it on any of my OTA broadcast, so it must have been another one that was only on cable..

Last year a coworker (on east coast) told me he would share his login so I could watch a game on my computer or phone... Not that desperate to watch TV.. turns out the guest that wanted to watch game needed all his concentration for the games we played..

Good evening and Happy New Year....

Waiting for the rain to arrive. Supposed to be near 50 through tomorrow night.

First day back to work in about 2 weeks. It was real answering the phones today. My favorite was the guy who called, had a starter that was cranking slow when cold, so he got a 途ebuild from an aftermarket supplier that didn稚 work at all, took it back, got another one, same outcome, got another one, same outcome. So he calls our tech line, gives me the sad tale of woe and wanted to know what to do to fixit. Here痴 your sign.

I told him we sell new starters that work.

Sometime between Sept. 3 and Dec. 16, I am going to stop dealing with those types of calls! I hope to have the patience to make it!

Everyone have a safe and good day

Good evening all. 49F to start the day, overcast, calm wind. Wind picked up for a while but eased off in afternoon, overcast all day, and high temp was 60F. Better start in the morning, got outside lights down, then cleaned up leaves. After lunch bike ride, then nap. Finnished with trip to town for errands and dinner :)
Don't add much salt, but during sweating season do have to add some electrolytes (no sodium) and salty foods such as V8.
Eric hope your internet change works for you.
RNG interesting check in. Do you find problems with flat when you push the wear indicators on the tire. Here's hoping you get away clean tomorrow, the rest of it sounds like a great trip.
Drew, that is why the push for whole food instead of the processed foods !
Ron good to see you are using the stationary bike.
Ted hope you get well soon.
Randy all our decisions should be so tough :)
David doe the water heater people have a support line to tel you how reset the board?
Rich, gotta wonder if the guy checked cranking voltage. Inqiring minds still want to know how you keep bike so clean in the woods. When I road off road I looked more like Pig-Pen, and bike to match :(
prayers for all.
