Is the 4th FM80 not wired yet?

Is green breaker the FM80 dc out with shunt? Or is shunt in the 175a dc breaker?

When you go away for a long trip, do you disable diesel backup? If it runs you need to manually reset the FM80 breaker to have panels charge batteries.

Nope, lithium.
Would be an interesting application. 3.8 kw each, but I don稚 know what a GC requires.

I don't know but Mostly got a new Yamaha Drive 48v maybe he knows.

Has your installer ever converted a lead acid golf cart to lithium?

But I also found a vegan restaurant in Austin that I will try.

Hey, which one? Try to stay off I35 in Austin during commute times. What are you planning to see in Austin.
There is also the Blue Corn Harvest grill that has good vegan options in Georgetown that has big parking a block from it.

I believe the FM80 breakers are in the Load center. That is part of today, adding the 2nd CC and appropriate breakers to the 4048 system.

System will only use 3 shunts.
A - all the Radian inverters
B - all the FM80 CC
C - my FX external chargers.

I’ll get an as is pic after coffee, then update after all together.

Buckeye, this takes me back to Electronics 101, affectionately known then in a liberal arts college as Shocks For Jocks.

very successful afternoon with next door neighbor. Taking Ron's suggestion, heated up the yellow cover of the rv power cable and with some twisting
around it went right on. One down. Then, since he was here, and my xmas wreaths were delivered from Master Gardener benefit sale, we put up the big 36 inch wreath on the barn. And thank you, thank you to the prior owner. Nice fat nail already sticking out of barn in just the right place.
Not the first wreath to go up there in 30 years.
Now to get a red bow on it and some led lights. I was asked to put it up plain since they wanted a picture of this size for next year's catalog.
Little more effort decorating at top of ladder but doable.

those apples look good and I love cinnamon, unless like Old Bay seasoning, it overwhelms...

Coffee is done brewing. 35ー with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 43ー with mix of sun and clouds. Dentist appointment got canceled because hygienist cut her finger. Hope she is back tomorrow for rescheduled appointment. Conserved energy most of the day. Going to try dehydrating some apples today in toaster oven.

Eric, lots of very bright LED lanterns out there. I have one of these.

David, good looking project.

Looking, I never heard of putting peroxide in water heater. I have done chloride in the water system. But have not done it in many years. Softener keeps the water in heater from collecting sediment.

Buckeye, nice looking fire pit. I am still using a Maytag SS tub for a fire pit.

Hawkeye, glad you have choices.

Prayers and best wishes to all.

Bird, I still have the Sleep Number we bought 20 years ago. Never had a problem with it. Have a newer one that we bought last year. It's a 360 P5 with Flexfit 2. Very comfortable bed. Hope your new one works out.

Good Morning All.

I suspect the sacrificial anode in the tank is toast. When I pull the old one out (it comes out through the top), I will drain the tank first, then pull the old anode and with the aid of a funnel, get the peroxide in.
The peroxide will stay in about 3-4 hours before I fill the tank and flush that out. Then refill it and turn the juice on again.
back when I had a dug/shallow (21') well, every spring a quart of Javex went into the well. I have a drilled well now, but along with that, I have lots of manganese. The softener takes care of that.

Not wired. The Prewired 4048 comes with just 1 CC

Green breaker is GFCI

No, generators stay enabled.
No resetting, the CC have own programming.

Thomas; You want to hope and pray that you do not come across Mama Moose. Not when she has her calf with her. They turn aggressive and will not hesitate to do you grievous harm.

Bill- Me thinks Thomas knows about his wildlife neighbors, but I definitely agree. I unexpectedly chanced upon the "safe side" of a very agitated sow's 3 treed cub's protective perimeter.... my doberman had already bailed- broke through the slider's screen to hide under the kitchen table and my crazy coon dog mix was still up on the hill prancing about making all kinds of noise. When she stood up and took a look at me and grunted I was following the doberman's path back. All's well that ends well.

Thomas- I rarely see fisher cats around here. They are a very unpopular (theoretical animal control inserted) foreign specie around here. They are better at killing chickens than porcupines.

David- Thanks for sharing this project and also to those who have a clue's input. It kind of helps to fire up the backup neurons. ;)

Down to 40, going to 35,54 tomorrow, again they are calling for mostly sunny. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Good evening all. 62F for the start, cloudy, light breeze. Wind got gusty early then started slowing down, few peaks of sunshine mid-afternoon, anf rain with some thunderstorms about 7PM, high temp was 73F. Men's meeting to start day, we worked on shopping list, bike ride, lunch then into town for groceries. No nap today :(.
Bird, reminder Turkey Roll Saturday.
RNG not to many people want to mess with thin tube 4130 already painted. So far the strength of the welds exceed their looks :) Hope your current measurements work with the old meter.
David what is the purpose of the shunts?
Roy nice the ice storm didn't develop.
Eric do you need to follow David and RNG's example?
Billy, I would never try pull start 100 times. After about four pulls would check plug for gas then spark check if plug is wet. If plug is dry remove air cleaner and few drops of gas into intake or carb. Use of stabilizer helps, had '66 100 Johnson outboard, the only way to get it to start next time was to run carb dry when putting boat back on trailer.
Bill insurance is hassle and sometimes a racket :(
Drew, are we on for lunch in Fort Worth? we would joke about Bike Across Kansas was more Eat Across Kansas, gotto keep the motor fueled :)
Ted hope your knee holds up and get your internet problems fixed.
Hawkeye sorry to hear granddaughter is not healthy, have fun with her.
Don, I ended up with a gasser, stepdaughter has a 48V electric. According to Trojan each battery has 1.51Kwh and there are 6 wired in series.
Ron good looking apples, can yu really have too much cinnamon?
Drew nice wreath.
prayers for all

The shunts provide the means to meter various values. How much output from Radian inverters or charge from their chargers. Charge provided by PV via the Charge Controller. I will use the 3rd to meter the charge provider by my FX chargers. My understanding is a shunt provides a known resistance, making measurementspossibe

I think you did very well.
Don’t know symbols etc but I thing you got the flow.

On another level the inverters, charge controller, and batteries are connected together via something called Hub 10 and managed by a device, Mate 3s. This allows setting various parameters in the system, monitoring of system at individual component level and aggregated performance, and the ability to start/stop various functions via internet.
