Was at the cabin in Meadows of Dan today.... Gorgeous weather, almost warm. Can't last too much longer. Trying to get a few more projects done.

I think you are correct it will change and get colder but $64 question will it last? That part is beyond my crystal ball at the present

My neighbors had a cream colored T=bird just like that.

I’m fighting the USPS, eBay and non responsive seller, I ordered a garage door opener to replace the one that shorted out and caught fire. Ordered on October 23, shipped on 10-25, last scanned in Jacksonville on the 28, after that it just says en route to destination. $149.95 in seller’s pocket.

Still praying for you Randy. Glad you had a great meal and remembrance on Thanksgiving.

I believe someone wanted your GDO more than the delivery guy wanted to deliver it....unless they left it conspicuously on your property in view and someone stole it from there.

Prayers for a smooth procedure buckeyefarmer.

I burned a fire in the titanium _it, and it turned a nice urple on the outside....Eric, I would call it having a lazy "_"

There’s a guy on YouTube from around there. Look up DLH Farms.

Buckeye. Hopefully your surgery goes as planned.

Drew. A 2366 is no small machine. Although it looks like they’re running a small platform. Would guess a 20. Around here it would have a 25 maybe even a 30.

Goofy day today, got about nothing done, didn’t sleep at all last night, I think I got my meds out of synch, missed a day, my sugar was up, and so was the bp. Got that straight, back to the real world tomorrow. I did manage lunch with my neighbor, we went to a place in town the has burgers made from locally grown cows. Great burgers! Then Costco, needed paper towels. My wife’s pet biz requires a fair amount of cleaning supplies. My neighbor has a internet business, dealing in classic radio, movies and tv shows. Right now he is writing a book on the Green Hornet, and he has a long list of folks who want a copy? Interesting guy.

Good evening all. 50F this morning, clear sky, calm wind. Wind got frisky today, sky clear and high temp of 75F. Choir practice this morning, 2 hours long this week and next. Bike ride, then adjusted Christmas lights on second gable to fix gap. Van work tomorrow.

Buckeye, prayers sent for swift and successful surgery. Nice neighbor!!:cool2:

Randy still praying for you.

Kyle that fireplace is turning some pretty colors

David, Not so nice neighbor

PJ the worst thing that happened to our building, was a truck tire trying to come through the roof. That bullet was crazy stuff.

Good flat fixing weather today. The tire just lost it’s bead seal, the shell station in Giddings fixed it right up after checking it out in a tub and lathered with soap.IMG_1058.JPG

Kyle, the GDO disappeared after being scanned in Jacksonville, it weighs 41 lbs. lady at P.O. says it can’t be lost it’s too big, I said in my world the very definition of lost is when you don’t know where something is! I just want it settled, don’t need the hassle right now.

13 right now...high about 40 today. No precipitation in the forecast, fortunately.
Heading to CT for a meeting...probably won't be home until 1800-1900...long day!

Good morning. I can feel by the warmth in the floor tiles that the thermostat has decided a bit of electric heating (from a ground source pump) is needed in what is normally the warmer part of the house. That's partially down to the constantly cooler weather and also because with visitors in the morning yesterday and then some more in the afternoon, I kept forgetting to stoke up the fire in the kitchen range.

The firebox door is solid black cast iron, so it's not obvious when walking past to see that the wood has all burnt away. Think I may add to my "one day when I fully retire" list, making a new steel door with a little glass window. Difficulty is keeping that list hidden from my wife, as she tends to see life's priorities somewhat differently to me

Good luck with the surgery Buckeye.

Good morning.

Temp is 19 and they say it will hit 46 with rain and some freezing rain :( Wind SE 13 gusting to 20 mph.
I took a peak at the long range forecast and it looks wet all week. Rain or showers every day.

Good morning all. 30 this morning going to 63 and sunny. Might do a little on wife's thread rack for the loom. Feeling lazy today so we will see.

Buckeye, Praying for you that your surgery goes well and recovery is swift.

Farmer, Watch DLH Farms pretty regular, enjoy it.

Have a great day. Ed

Sat down at computer and forgot to start coffee. :ashamed: 39° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 60° with mostly sunny skies. Awake too early this morning. Should be a good day to get some outside projects done. But winds are forecast to be in the 20's. Put tree trimming on hold. Sharpen chain saw chain and prep other tools for the project. Still going to do something outside. Hard-to pass up a outside day when it's going to be 60°.
Buppies, thanks for the weather report.
Buckeye, best wishes for a good operation and recovery.
Irv, hope getting back on your med's will make you feel better.
Kyle, there is a different car for each month. Going to nice look at them whenever I need the calendar.
Rick, I don't loan anything anymore unless I am going with it.
Good Morning All.

11F sky full of stars low 40's for high.
Think I'll start pickup before heading down to the grind.
Not much happens after 5pm because of darkness outside anymore. :(

Enjoy the day all.

28 going up to low sixties, repeat of yesterday.
Was smart and stopped chipping brush after two hours yesterday and got off my feet; much better last night without cramps.

Farmer, I can barely recognize tractors, combines not a chance. Usually if they start with a 9 it means they are the largest class?
Of course large is really the size of the combine head, right. Like tractors, these things can have 600hp engines in them now.
What's really funny is looking at old ads for the approx. 18hp Super A I'm considering, and it's pulling a hay baler, a little one for sure.

I wonder when tractors will go to Ten series. They've been stuck at 9 for awhile I think...Some marketing person will find that too limiting.
The farms East of here, in the wonderfully rich soil at the bottom of the Dismal Swamp area, between here and the coast, aren't the size of Western or Canadian farms but they are big and lots of 9 series JD, Massey and NH. Saw a well worn 9420 yesterday.

Lastest thing here for farmers is a group applying for licenses to grow hemp. I'm guessing this is for commercial production of CBD, cannabidiol, which I hope goes through since it's a plant based equivalent of one of the major arthritis drugs I take and has less side effects, like less drowsy. Yes the other part of the plant can be used for different things, hence the licensing, no idea how they control that. What I do know is the stuff works, and that's all I can write about that. I don't exactly live in the most progressive state............
