Good morning!!!!

Literally had a root canal at 7:15 this morning. I decided to take the day off work so I came home and chainsawed a heaping pickup load of pallets for a bonfire this weekend. My mouth and tongue are still numb right now and my back will probably be out in the morning. If you're gonna be dumb you gotta be tough they say.

Great big ol' storm last night, lightening tracker says lightening struck 0 miles SE, W and NW of here, I looked out and nothing was glowing, so I went to bed.

Yea, diesel prices kinda suck. That price included a delivery charge but I forgot to ask how much. I did pay .10/ gal more than I did in Feb.
I have 5 5gal containers, so that was 6 trips to town 40 miles round trip. Probably cost me 35-40 cents/gal not counting time (1.5hours per) etc to do myself.

Good morning. Rain arrived half an hour ago. I heard the first few drops pinging onto some old tin sheets and when I looked down, noticed this tiny poppy, which has somehow managed to germinate and grow in a piece of wood that is weighting the sheets down.

Ed, the calendar says it is still summer here. If it is true what they say about variety being the spice of life, then our summers are always highly spiced - any permutation of warm, cold, dry or wet.

I will have to show my wife that pic she will like it. This year our summer has been highly spiced with red pepper. :) Ed
