Good morning all. 73 here this morning going to 89 wit a 50% chance of thunderstorms mostly after 2 pm. Need some rain to settle the lawn where the skid loader tore it up yesterday. Mother in law is coming for a visit today and need to run errands.

Drew noticed the heat warning has moved away from you a little. :cool2:

Mist slow to clear this morning. Sun making it's way through, fingers crossed rain will hold off until hay baled and covered.

Not heard before of warm sour cherry pie, but I would certainly like to try. Only one thing better than a piece of key lime pie - two pieces ! :licking:

RNG, I have heard of artists and photographers with fancy filters getting up before day break in order to capture the morning light, but never before heard of anyone painting at 3:00am and not wanting to capture anything :laughing:. My, that is dedication.

71.6F and cloudy ... more precip on tap today. Got about 1/2 inch here yesterday, everything has greened up pretty well. Big downpour over at the center.

Got the holes for the sinks cut out in the countertop and got it glued down on the base cabinets yesterday. Also some trim work/staining/polying done.

Peppi La Pew was wandering across the yard this morning.

very embarrassed to have the shuttle driver of local Ram dealer have to drive me back to my house, twice, because apparently the cleaning ladies turned the second lock knob on my front door so my electronic dead bolt didn't help me one bit. No key. Back to the dealership, get my garage door opener, and since I'm typing this, clearly
the second try worked. Have to remember to check that door when the ladies leave.

off now to get get some electric fence material.

I have a nice patch of basil I need to put away. Dry or freeze?

One last extra hot day, then normal heat with high humidity for a few, then low humidity and below normal temps for a few days, I hope!

Made a bathroom run at 4 and all was well, stood up at 7 and left lower back hurts like h3ll! Can't work on my hitch like this!

73 this morning and headed to 81 today. Just over an inch of rain overnight and more to come today.

Finish getting ready for chickens this morning and turn on heaters this afternoon. Hopefully AT&T show up today and fix their phone line. Just a constant busy signal. Just got home from dropping the oldest boy off for his first day of Preschool. Thought momma was going to cry when she asked if he did and I said "no".

Drew. How'd pie turn out? I'm a cherry turnover guy. Now a good pecan or hickory nut pie would be work the drive.

Good Morning! 80F @ 8:30AM. Sunny. High 98F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Haven't had a decent piece of cherry pie since Mom died, though a Jolly Rancher in that flavor sure does bring back the memories. Hope your pie was at least that good, Drew!

Oh, and there was a story on the news the other night on how someone at a hacker convention announced a method for opening a great number of the new electronic locks, without a key. Just like they're already doing it with many of the new car locks.

Believe me, Eric, if there were any way to avoid the moonlight paint job, I'd be all over it. But until I have a real paint booth to keep out the dust and sunlight, and until the temps cool off, this is what it takes to keep making progress. But ask any old retired guy, and most would tell you they're up at about 3AM answering Nature's call, and then they can't get back to sleep anyway. So I suspect I'll just be taking an extra long nap tomorrow afternoon, except a buddy is coming over for help fixing a pulled cylinder head stud on his BMW motorcycle...

I've got windows and doors to mask this morning, then a final wipe down, and the van will (I hope) be ready for primer. Then a run into town for those lights and it'll be dinner time. Been looking forward to getting this over for a couple weeks now, and I hope all the excitement doesn't prevent me from sleeping. :confused2:

Hope the A/C install goes as planned today, Buppies!

Good afternoon all. Yesterday temps were 72F to 91F and lower dewpoints, and partly to mostly cloudy. Today 76F and light drizzle, forecast for 82F (already there) and back to 74F dewpoint and 15% chance of rain the rest of the day. bike ride done, have some consulting to do this afternoon.

These loggers are solid folks. Mid-Atlantic Tree Harvesters. Frankie Johnson is the guy who I work with. Solid guys. The ended up basically dropping arock driveway to the far south corner from my gate. Good spot for a family subdivision.

As for the pie... Had some Apple ala mode yesterday, but my favorite is Blueberry, no Blackberry, no Blueberry.... Mmmmm

But cherry is good too!

Good morning. This could be the last good summer's day for us for quite a while. Shame I have to go and spend a good part of it at the dentist, on a new patient check up which is scheduled to last 40 minutes.

Had 143 gals diesel delivered at $4.35/g.

Some may think that's expensive, but it is less than the cost of our road going diesel - and you get to live in paradise

72 going to 89, more rain possible again this morning after last night's big storm.

Glad I invested another 2 hours into lawn mowing. Still can't take my bush hog into parts of two fields because too wet.

Son coming to visit today with his boxer...girlfriend coming tomorrow...then we dog sit while they go to Annapolis.

57F now mid 80's for high.
Able to take trimmer for 2 hour walk last evening,hope the same for this evening and mow the lawn Saturday.
Nice sleeping weather for change,but 4 day warm up arrives today.
