Mowing done except for Cottage and finish the dogs area, both jobs for smaller mower, not tractor.

No big plans for the day, likely piddle around cleaning up work area.

Taxes pretty much done, but I'll wait at least another month for K-1s and such to trickle in. Nice refund on the way. :cool2:

So today is a garage day, hopefully get that winch mount fabbed and painted. Maybe even get the winch on the receiver mount, but I'm going to stretch it out and savor the experience. :laughing:

Maybe a camp fire for sunset, the weather's supposed to cooperate. Should dig the pit out in the next few days, as the winter's fireplace ashes have it pretty much filled up. Should have done it after the last rain fall...

Was going to ride but it is spritzing heavy enough to wet my glasses in less than a mile, and helmet started dripping but no water in rain gauge yet . Good Afternoon. 1350, partly cloudy, 76F with 54% humidity. Forecast high of 74F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 57F tonight.

I got off work before 0100 and got a solid 8 hours of sleep. I worked in the garden all morning, but feeling like I could nap if I was to sit down and turn on the race. Margie is cooking lunch, including broccoli and kale picked from the garden this morning, and peas out of the freezer. She is baking ham two ways. Half with pineapple and half with sweet potatoes. I'm sure both will be good.

Drew, I tried to post a reply to your raised bed question last night, but the big bad gateway ate it. Most folks try to use untreated timbers and just plan on replacing them every 4 or 5 years.

Replaced the 100w incandescent bulb in the outside fixture with a 100w CFL bulb at the back kitchen door ... check ...

Breaker for the high-pressure sodium light on the polebarn turned on ... check ...

(Failed to remember to grab another photocell for it while at the Depot ... so it's on 24/7 unless I turn the breaker off ... )

Thanks for the welcome. A bit about myself. I Live down in Ocean County, NJ, with the Pine Barrens to my West and Barnegat Bay and the Atlantic Ocean to the East. I grew up in North Central Jersey. I retired after 40 years in the Fleet Maintenance Center of a large Electric and Gas Company. My son and I are both into old cars, trucks, tractors and equipment. We have several machines including a 1957 and 1974 Economy Power Kings. I have other hobbies and interests including boating and fishing. Today my son and I spent the day with his girl friend at a Boat Show. Hope to share a lot with you guys.

21F now low 30's for high.
Upper 40's last weekend sure drop snow level in many places,very few spots south side has snow.

Towns /city's already posted road weights for spring,can't remember last time back roads posted this early...3 weeks ahead.
