Good morning all. 40F and cloudy, going to 61 partly sunny moderate breeze. Internet down at work yesterday so unable to check in. Ceiling painting done, getting house put back together, so haven't spent any time on computer. Done with coffee this morning so back getting ready for house sale/ moving.

No replacement tractor in future at this point. The plan is to buy a house without the acreage. However, since the replacement home is not bought yet, and experience has show what we think we are going to do is rarely what happens!

Getting my house ready for sale also, a real pain in the arse. Collected so much stuff over the years. We want to down size from our 5 bedroom home but it's hard to figure out what to keep and what to get rid of.

You guys with your talk about downsizing scares me, big time. I moved here back in late '88 from a 900 square foot 2 bedroom house with no basement or garage, and then I had plenty of room. My place is now a 2450 square foot house with a full basement, a garage that is bigger than my first house was, a 2 story barn that has 2X the space of the garage, and a 35X45 barn....and everything is full of crap....AND just imagine the stuff my ex took...sometimes I wonder "where the h*ll did I get all this stuff..." :laughing:

Just took the GF's grandkids for a 3000' walk around the borders of the property, but they are tearing around the house like they are energized....and I am already worn out...51 degrees here, gonna change my duds and continue with storm debris cleanup, I have about 80% of that done by now.

Hope everyone survived the bad weather, we didn't get anything severe at all here. Mid 70's and humid today, just the way I like it! Starting a new job today, after 37 years of running my business and 3 months of retirement, I decided retirement is not for me! My best friend owns a car dealership and wants me to come to work in the office, collecting payments, writing service tickets one day a week, altogether about 4 days a week. I'm ready!

Hey toppop52, the way you sling the BS here, we know you will make a great car salesman...so go for that....:laughing:

Good Morning. 1155, light rain, 60F with 97% humidity. Forecast high of 69F with rain chances from 2-31% this afternoon, and a low of 56F with rain chances of 7-88% tonight. It has rained just over half an inch since midnight. There was a short break, but before I could change out of my workout clothes and get outside, it started back. I had to put on the rain gear and get outside yesterday. I was going stir crazy. I brought my bike plow up on the porch and made some improvements. Now if the garden would just dry out enough for me to test them.

The Chipola River has came up 10 feet since Tuesday. It's on 25.7' now and projected to crest at 27.7' on Saturday. I looked back for last spring's flood, just to see how high it was then. It was 28.97' on 3-2-13. That was about 3" below both of my camp trailers. So if their forecast is right, I should be alright.

I have inherited a bunch of tools and outdoor stuff from neighbors recently. Added to my own stuff, my barn is hard to walk around in now. I figure when I assume room temperature, she can have a heck of a barn sale.

a brisk morning in Lenoir City TN, several hours East of Nashville. Going up to the sixties today, and on Sunday in the eighties for the next ten days. Summer is coming.
