19 degrees right now and a light dusting of snow last night. The high is supposed to be 28 and clear.
I still have to do some clean up work...finish the walks and deck. Then, probably goof off the rest of the day.

"We had around a foot of heavy, wet snow last night at home, not sure what driveway horrors await me there but I anticipate a 3' tall hump of hard frozen plow snow across the entrance."

Hope your ftound wasn't frozen,for the snow melted/settle a lot yesterday,but the bad side if not frozen you might have extra spring clean from the driveway

Morning all, 19F here this cool morning, heading to 30F with a chance of snow. Predicted high for Sunday up to 59F.

20F light snowing about .50 to inch weather station saying,high low 30's tonight around 0F.
Started 7:30am finish around noonish cleaning roofs path deck off yesterday,around 2pm loosen the old belt did my best to put dent Thanksgiving fixings watch football etc.

Today off to locksmith try have couple keys cut for the pickup and house,lost mine when plowing yesterday.

Had another thanksgiving dinner that couldn't be beat.....

after listening to alices restaurant.

Too full to even eat dessert.

That big yellow cat sure looks spoiled.

My brother could perform it perfectly. Also the motorcycle pickle song. He passed about 22 years ago. We miss him especially at Thanksgiving. He would get requests from many families to come perform it. Usually do it about 4 times each Thanksgiving.

Glad to read everyone had a great day yesterday. We went to visit my wife's family in North Carolina. Had all 3 of our sons, dogs and girlfriends there. Unusual to be able to get everyone in one place. Great food and fellowship. Even got to meet a fellow tractor owner/log splitter/wood burner/hunter and learned some things.

I woke up early and brought the first load (mostly dog and stuff) home already this morning, getting home before sunrise...and what a beautiful sunrise it was, while out filling bird feeders. Wife staying down longer to help parents decorate for Christmas and eat leftovers.

Good Morning All!

20F, calm and overcast here in NW Ohio this morning. Dusting of snow yesterday evening.

Still 31,700 without power in Maine, mostly in two southern coastal counties where the snow was really wet & heavy.

We and I suppose a few million other people are heading home tomorrow morning. I expect heavy traffic but the roads should be okay weather-wise.

Still full from yesterday even though I eat none of the fatty foods. The dogs benefitted in a big way because all the skin and body parts that don't get eaten by us get boiled in a pot with leftover and other vegetables and peelings and then poured over their dog food. They were all pretty happy last night and slept soundly. It's a good time to be a dog around here for the next six weeks.

26 this morning and headed to 45 today. Maybe. Never got any warmer yesterday. Stayed around 31 or 32 all day. Snowed pretty hard at times too. A couple of times bridges turned white. But our ground is still too warm. Nothing like you northerners are seeing.

Wife is talking about doing some Black Friday shopping. I hope she keeps talking about it. Maybe the clock will slip over to tomorrow.

Never seen the point to standing in line for hours just to save $10. Pretty low wages if you ask me.

Had a great meal last night, my inlaws do a great job. No snow here, yet. I am going to a 5k race my wife is running in tonight, then a parade, the "Fantasy of Lights" here in Howell. My sister is coming to spend some time with us. I guess this means I gotta get shaved and showered pretty soon.... I need to do a couple of things today, including getting the snowblower out. I am gonna need it, sooner or later.

Good morning all. Yesterday was overcast until mid afternoon then sunny, breezy. This morning 26F high of 51F moderate breeze. Next several days will be warm, should get some biking in. Wife wants to go fridge shopping again, granddaughter's car need a coolant leak found and repaired on the agenda today.

Still stuffed from yesterday. As one of the participants noted, the food just seemed exceptional this year.

24F and partly cloudy @ 11:00 ... sun looks like it is trying to peek out.

Looks like we ended up getting several inches of snow ... nothing to worry about really ... should be gone by Monday.

Got the mortar around the stove pipe where it goes into the chimney repaired yesterday ... so we've got really good draft again. I really think I need to open up the air inlet on this thing ... it just doesn't seem to be getting enough air to stay hot enough to keep the blower fan running.

Back when I restored it originally, I did open it up a little with a die grinder ... but if you load it up with fuel (wood) the fire sometimes will tend to die down over time ... even with the air inlet open all the way. The clean out drawer can be opened to allow additional air in, but I don't like doing that because it seems too easy to overfire the stove.

Also need to finish the duct work ... so it's actually connected to the rest of the HVAC duct work.

51 degrees.......lots of rain......will get up to 60 today. We've had about 4 inches of rain in last 24 hours. No black Friday shopping for me!!!!

30º here this morning, fire going, beautiful day, sunny and no wind. Me belly doing good from yesterday, and leftover just now for lunch, mmmmmm... Hope y'all boys had a great Thanksgiving Day too! And good weekend, and safe travels, if ye have to drive anywhere. Keep'er between the ditches boys.
