26 this morning and headed to 47 today. Chance of rain turning to snow. Maybe an inch of "icy slushy snow"(per NWS). Off to look at bulls today.

Hate it you guys are going to see so much snow for holidays.

Drew. I've got a Chevy 3/4 ton HD. And it takes about 800-1000 lbs to change my ride. But being single wheel it did better than the wife's old trailblazer. Doubt the Tahoe will be able to compare being 2 wheel drive. But it could surprise me. Never had a dually but if you get the set up right it seems to me it would be better than a car or crossover. Because you have weight and that means traction.

Good Morning. 1055, sunny, 55F with 72% humidity. Forecast high of 60F with 0% chance of rain this afternoon, and a low of 44F tonight. It was pretty nice out when I walked the trash up to the road. Today is the last day of bow season and I want to spend an hour or two in the shooting house, and there is more wind than I would like. Maybe is will lay before I go.

37F and sunny @ 14:00 ... pretty pleasant actually ... need about three or four days of this ...

Went up to the shop this morning and I still had some wood burning and the temp in the building was fairly warm ... it was great ...

Got some angle welded on the chipper this morning to mount the storage basket.

Just got done grading and staking most of the driveway with flagged rebar ... have one area I need to finish building up with some larger stone. Will do that after I finish my tuney-noodle casserole mebbe.

Need to run up to McMaster to exchange one item and pick up another ... also need to swing by Home Depot.

electric just came back on. snow about stopped, it's really slushy underneath since it was so warm yesterday. still got 3-4" or so.

Beautiful view. It's sure pretty to look at fresh snow, but I wouldn't want to live in it for long.

No, later today I'll be able to get some seat time and snowblow it off the driveway and come inside after an hour looking like a Popsicle. I really need a cab for Christmas.

Perhaps some deficiencies in the spelling department but hey, we all know what a tracter is.

Was he treated with dignity in the processing plant?...

Just having some cereal for dinner. Not real hungry, wife is eating a salad I got her for lunch, she put off eating it long enough for it to become dinner... Got some things put away in the barn lots of things left to do.

Have you ever smelled a real Cajun kitchen at work? You can usually smell them about 1/2 mile away, and they don't always smell so great. Somehow the food usually tastes great though. I remember reheating some crawfish etoufee at work 1 day in the microwave. Some guys almost wanted to fight me for smelling up the breakroom so bad. I told them when they stopped smoking, I'd stop bringing in cajun food.
