Drinking cup of hot coffee. 32° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 60° with plenty of sun. Never got windows washed. Puttered on a few little projects. Will have to wait on another cloudy day for window washing. Grocery shopping this morning. Then some garden pond maintainace.
May have waited a little to long for colors on the road I live on.

RNG, tend to think this Dr/exam thing somewhat a joke. How should we to expect them to find something wrong? My exams as a kid were more extensive.
This last visit I asked about colonoscopy as I now my last exam was pre pandemic. I asked about the mail it in as I’ve always been clear and no family history. Doc said exam not indicated as I was over 75 yo. Get the feeling maybe I’m on my way out ready or not and they don’t care.
Of course the other side of that is I was chastised for not coming in often enough, should be several times a year vs more that year in between. Guess they are looking for my answers to change. They get annoyed when I tell them they only want to see me because I have insurance.

I think that is the reason my quack got snotty with me. I got my license medicals done somewhere else, not with him.

Ken, we use a Dremel made for dogs to do Della's nails...I used to use clippers on Coconino and really like the Dremel better. It uses a sanding disc and has a slow speed for nails, and a plastic guard with a proper slope to place the nail/pad...rechargeable battery. She takes it well.

Took Della for a long hike to swim and make up for being cooped up all day when we went to see my mom. She was happy. Then, we finally got a chance to go to the county courthouse complex and vote...very steady stream of voters, but no lines...then over to get a pizza and do a quick shopping list at Walmart.

What a rotten nights' sleep I had last night. In bed just before 12, up at 01:30 - P, back to sleep and up again at 5 - P, at 6 I decided to stay up. Will go for a power nap around 8 or 9.

Today is another energy conservation day.

Have feeling tax/city might be doing the same thing,new fire station was voted down twice end of May revote and pass,less than 2 months old fire station torn down and new cement footing have been poured.
I thought no vote meant no vote and that department had to try again next year.

Getting dark quick now grass not growing much our fire showing how dry it’s gotten here. 59 high in 70s no rain in sight. Trees are really pretty now.

All that moving tweak a muscle in the back, so that's not good. Still a lot more to move around, and just getting around now is unpleasant.

Phone went dead sometime yesterday, No SIMM card detected, noted before that that service was spotty. Rebooted, cleaned and reset, still no SIMM. Never seen that before. So off to the Verizon store we go when they open.

56° with a high of 65 forecast. High overcast now, clearing as dry cold front passes.

Yesterday, I actually got some cleanup done in the shop, the plasma table is ready to go to work. Greased the tractor, I need to grease the mowers, the Progressive is more of a project, it usually uses more than a tube of grease. Picked up a load of mulch with the dump trailer.

Won’t get anything done today, I have to go to Palm Beach this morning, with the commute to the airport, I won’t get home until late this afternoon. I might commute with the little plane, that will save some time.

good morning, 51 going to 64 the low was 45. a little cooler. Very dry and not as pretty this year with fall colors. But squirrels are all over never seen this many.

59 year married today. Started with stealing someones date at the dormitory

Worked some more on the firewood pile using the excavator to push into the bucket to make every trip count.

Neighbors excavation around the new pole building continues. Glad I am not paying that bill

D called. last day in Japan today. She brought an old dumb phone to use in Vietnam. Nothing to hack on that one. Birthday party today before leaving.
The new assignment papers signed while on the trip ready for when she returns
Complaint filed within the time limit for how she was treated at the old job. She had the complaint writeup reviewed by several more senior people and incorporated their input

A few weeks ago the District Attorney called about hit and run case from last November. Said he will plead guilty how much time do I want him to serve. I said not up to me. The DA wanted to know what I wanted. Think he should be required to go to AA if he misses meeting mandatory jail time. Oh we cannot do that not set up to work with AA. I said maybe you should be. Solutions that could be done not being done easier to put in jail no real solution here. I tried system is broken

Vt, 47 to start going to 59, had a little rain last night and today it’s noticeable cooler !

My exams as a kid were more extensive.

David, it’s all about money today, get in and get out and try and set you up for as many visits as possible! I refuse to go more than twice a year, I think that’s mandatory on the insurance end ! If I’m really sick I will go , but I have to be really sick !

Will start packing up this morning and head south, won’t get back here until the end of November or later !

Yesterday I was over on the north side of the property cutting up an ash tree that came down earlier this year with the Ranger and my trusty Stihl Farm Boss ! Brought it up to the back side of the barn and will split it up the next time !

Drew, safe travels on your final leg home ! I’m sure it will feel good to sleep in your own bed again !
