Happy 4th of July, All!

55 right now...high about 90...good day to stay in which is my plan.
No fireworks for me...haven't cared much for them in years.
Like Drew, I'm concerned about the celebration in Washington. There are some really vicious thugs...brownshirts, if you will, in this country right now. However, pulling a stunt like they did in Portland...well, there's going to be a lot of law enforcement and military on hand and any attempts to disrupt the celebration may have dire results for anyone foolish enough to do so.

61F now good chance 90F for high.

Outside chores are done enjoying E muffin.
Plans for today...Mrs. going to send me to town for several things than after that take the day as it comes,but this I am sure of with the 3H's weather you'll find me in cool spot.

Listened to a recording of Paul Harvey talking about the men who signed the declaration. It didn't end well for almost all of them. Many lost everything, some gave their fortunes to the good guys....and they never got re-payed.

That was quite the commentary, I wish it would be repeated more.
The many individuals that gave everything including health and freedom so that this country could be born.
So many people don't think about the cost that our founding fathers paid for us to have a great nation.

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 62° with partly cloudy skies. Heading to 86° with PM thunderstorms. Got the lawn cut in late afternoon when humidity dropped down to 18%. Pull a few garden weeds. Visited with neighbor. Loaned him my Ice Machine. He is having a second shoulder surgery Monday. Going to do the garden pond maintenance I did not do Sunday today. The do some yard puttering.

Jay, we left B of A many years ago when they bounced a check that we had way more than enough money in checking account to cover it. No offer to pay late fees or send letter to payee. Sorry you are stuck with them. Hope your trip home is safe.

Roy, hope your wife is feeling better.

Waiting for mine to make coffee. She actually doesn't like it when I make it....(not strong enough).

I plan to do some mowing, weed eating, possibly bush hogging/slashing, then later throw something on the pit. Maybe just simple, good old' American hot dogs.

Good morning! Happy 4th! 77˚ before sun and gettting to mid 90s.

My wife has a special dish planed, I think something like baby back ribs where no body parts are used, this ought to be interesting.

Instead of a run to the garden yesterday i did the yard so this morning I'll go gather cucumbers. The tomatoes have stopped producing so they might need to come out.

I also hope everyone behaves in Washington today.

Does anyone remember which day Randy said his wedding was in 8 days?

Good morning to all! Low of 52, going to 90. No chances of rain / storms until Saturday and Sunday.

Maybe get a chance to go to the neighbor's to assemble her tractor today. The knee was swollen yesterday and was difficult to bend yesterday. This morning it's a little better, so hopefully it will continue to be cooperative and I'll be able to move around better. She said she is "not in any hurry" so maybe I'll wait a couple more days.

Happy 4th to everyone, special thanks to those defending our rights both today and in the past!

I do enjoy being present at fireworks displays, but now I really can't stand the crowds and traffic. We live on top of a "hill", and can see for miles around (peeking around the trees) so I watch fireworks from a distance. The big display will be on TV. Hopefully there won't be any idiots out there starting wildfires.

Maybe some hamburgers and HD's on the grill later. We'll talk / FaceTime with the kids since they will be off from work.
