Good morning!!!!

Need to pour a cup of coffee. 63° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 74° with cloudy skies and evening rain. We enjoyed the tour of my hometown. Best part was we left Sassy at our friends house while we were on the tour. Lots of good memories shared. This is my work partners wife and daughter. Do some garden pond maintenance this morning. Maybe some NASCAR if they do not get rained out.

Good color in sky this morning.

I have eaten a lot of Ball Park Franks.

Rick, interesting story.

Kyle, happy birthday to your daughter.

Jay, glad Zoo trip was good.

Lynn, great weather. Please close the door and all windows.

Buckeye, stay away from things that create dust. Get better soon.

Randy, special prayers for fast recovery.

Drew, nice veggies. Cleaning windows is not on my list of projects to like. Maybe that's why I do not have a Cab Tractor.

Prayers for all.

Good Morning All.

Good Morning!!!! 58F @ 4:15AM. Sunshine and a few afternoon clouds. High around 95F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.

Thomas, the Fox Whisperer. Sounds like a magic moment for both of you. But best that the fox not lose its fear of man, as that way could mean trouble for both of you.

Eric, I'd be happy to bundle up some of this weeks' predicted heatwave and send it to you, but only if it can be done without what you'd call mains power. It seems our overly cautious PG&E electric utility made good its threat to cut our power at about 9:15PM last night, and it's still out. Fortunately, "live" areas are still close enough that I have cellular service, better than it usually is in fact, and the iPhone's hotspot is working just fine for this old MacBook Pro.

I did manage to get the house hot wired with the generator around dinner time last night, and verified that both well pumps worked, as well as the home network and satellite internet modem. The Network Attached Storage device wasn't happy about having the power rug jerked out from under it, and now complains that its file system is dirty and needs FSCK run on it, but everything else seems to have tolerated the abrupt power transition well. I'll probably go back to sleep in a bit, then start the generator again to make breakfast and let the laptop batteries recharge and such. Then there's plenty of yard work that doesn't require electricity to do, so I'll work on that until it gets too hot while the generator rests. My gasoline supply looks pretty good, having stocked up for wood cutting and filled the tanks on the van and truck, so unless there really is a wildfire, I should be fine until our whimsical utility returns to its senses and turns the lights back on. But this debacle does validate my plan to rely on solar power for the majority of my energy needs in the future, and abandon the power grid which we have now been shown is more or less unreliable.

Hope everyone enjoys what's left of the weekend!

RNG, how are you protecting your gasoline supply from fire?

got veggies picked, made up a gift basket for sick head of garden club, diabetes put her back in hospital.
Going to get my friend "Miss Daisy" to deliver it, they are close friends.
I think I'll get rained out of project for this afternoon, sharpening mower blades.

I need to order some weld on hooks for my loader bucket. that's a good rainy day project.

Toppop, hope you are feeling better each day.

I'm back on prednisone, back and joints feeling better already. Until my bones fall apart and my skin turns paper thin.
Seems to be a two week regimen. Even if it doesn't help my ear long term, which I bet it will, I'll sure feel better everywhere else.
Assuming I can keep the ticks off me. Gross little buggers.

Well we didn't get any of Lynn's snow yesterday but it only got up into the high 40's. It's starting out this morning a cold 24° with mostly sunny skies. We might make it up to the low 60's sometime today. The forecast shows the mid 70's for the next few days.

I took the doors off the side by side a week ago and part of the plastic door jams had cracks in them. I spent part of yesterday working on them I think they will last for one more winter.

I'm not sure what I will be doing today. I have a few things I would like to get done, I just need the motivation to get started. It's been a long cold and wet spring.

Hope everyone has a great day.
CWB.

RNG, saw on the news that PGE was cutting power. What a pathetic utility, but it's a pathetic government that allows it.

Drew, nice basket.

Ron, beautiful pic.

I remember driving thru snow storm in yellowstone in august. We had gone on a horseback ride at Roosevelt, on way back in it started raining. We were staying down near the lake. As we drove cross dunraven pass it was snow.

New ZT really throws out the grass, and i got covered pretty good for the short time i was out.

70% chance of rain today, sunny and 66° now.

Wngsprd. Glad new stapler working well.

I see more people like to putter. I assume that means they like golf. I used to putter around some...

Need to get moving...

Good Sunday Morning. It's 73°F, clear, and 91% humidity here this morning. Forecast is for 98°F (groan) this afternoon. TWC has us under a heat advisory. . Cool front coming tomorrow and forecast high is only 86°F tomorrow and 82°F Tuesday. Woo Hoo!

I'm thinking some ZT mowing this morning then a switch to cab tractor and RFM when it starts getting hot. Grass in our 9 acre "yard" is about 12" now and not slowing down.

I'll take cab and window cleaning over an open station any day. I blow out the cabs really well with compressed air blow gun then clean inside windows with the ZEP foaming glass cleaner from HD.

ZEP 19 oz. Foaming Glass Cleaner-ZUFGC19 - The Home Depot

Now ..... my tractor cabs don't have the moon roof, with burglar bars like Drew so, then ..... there's that.

WNG .... I'll be listening to Astros and Orioles, on our local FM station from the comfort of my tractor cab, at 1:10 p.m. today.
Vindication will be ours!

Jay .... glad you're back safe and you had a great zoo visit. My favorite zoo is Lincoln Park but, haven't been there in many years.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Prayers to all.

Good morning to all! Low of 50, going to 76 today, sunny. A front will come across this evening, dropping temps and bringing a chance of showers tomorrow. Temps will be lower by 15-20 degrees tomorrow, then get back up near 90 the rest of the week.

Kyle, happy birthday to your daughter

Jay, sounds like a great experience at the zoo!

Lynne, that snow is crazy in June...

Thomas, neat experience with the fox pup!

Ron, nice pic of the sunrise!

BEF, hope your're feeling better!

Everyone have a great day! Prayers sent.

Waiting for rain this AM. Yesterday was an odd day.

Biggest fun factor was the black snake "dropping in ON me again". I guess I gotta knock if I go in that particular building.

Since it is Sunday, I got some thanks I gotta give....

Have a great day all. Be Safe!

Good Morning to all,

I have been sitting here on the front porch for two hours, beautiful morning, 63 now, sunny, no clouds, headed to an expect warm 93 degrees.

Watching eight Hot Air Balloons go up and float around for a while, might still be more, they usually last until 9 AM, that when planes start to fly around.

fullsizeoutput_1f4.jpeg

Coffee is gone, wife is still in bed, being Sunday and all, her comes a plane, the hours of Balloon Flight might have changed with the season.

Going to get the HD Weed Whip out in a short while, need to beat the heat if it gets to 90+, but the weeds are sssssooooo bad this years, if I don't get them NOW they will be blocking my view soon enough.

Time to find something to eat for breakfast, I'm thinking something healthy this AM, not sure what but I am sure there will be something.

This afternoon will be the lazy time, heat will come up and A/C will go on, if it hits 85+,and I will be in easy chair with the Movie channel on... what is on today !

Later all, hope your day will be as easy as mine is PLANNED to be... until the wife gets up !
