hey mate! yeah, but you're probably sitting there with sweat rolling off you, kangaroos kicking dirt in your face, and
your refrigerator full of VB broke and they're all hot....:D

Actually Alien, you and David/Sodamo are kind of alike there. No snow shovels in your garage...

always good to hear from the other side of the world. Really.

Feels warmer just reading about it.

sure does. Now, I wonder if a real Alien signed on. What a hoot.
Friend, do you prefer a plow or discs when turning over your Quantarian space dunes?

I clearly read too much sci fi...:D
First Contact made on TBN. Let's see how Muhammad handles that...

Armchair doctors? those of you with E&O? :D

Every time I've gotten a prescription filled at Costco, it came with a sheaf of paperwork explaining when to take it, what it interacted with, and what foods to avoid. If that wasn't the case, I'd go over to WebMD - Better information. Better health. and have a look around. I screwed up the last round of antibiotics I was prescribed by using milk to make my oatmeal, which turned out to be a no-no. Took a couple of days to dawn on me to switch to water...:confused2:

I don't reckon the government shutdown has affected the IRS a great deal. I filed our income tax return on 1/28/2019 and the IRS AND my bank already show that the refund will be deposited on 2/4/2019.

I look at pics of whom I believe to be David and a lot of the rest of the frequent posters here who have had "selfies" intentional or not posted and have come to the impression that we in all our many shapes and sizes actually look alike.:eek:

Maybe so, Jay, but I hope I don't ever end up dressing too much like that guy in the green shirt in David's photo.:laughing::laughing::laughing:

A lot of good suggestions. The only one I am not going to use is the one suggested by my wife. Even when I have to water the garden beds while they are gone I refused to be called their Bedwetter!

I dunno, that just might be the one that sticks, BW!

Good morning! 45 ˚F heading to the 50s. Trail blazing this morning with the CA group that is bringing in extra machines and help on this last push before ribbon cutting. bobcat and mega mulcher and 5 muscle guys, I might just supervise.

The big plant sale at the horticulture clubs plant sale at the gardens will be just a few days apart from the ribbon cutting and that club is also preparing so I need to help get the gardens common areas in shape after winter. Possibly some seat time late this morning. Here is a drone view of the garden plant sale last year, my garden is on the second row, Buckeye can probably pick it out. Plant Sale 218 - YouTube

Have Pickleball practice with the wife this afternoon, she missed yesterdays class recovering from a Whipper induced fall on the street. Luckily she did not break anything falling flat on her back in the middle of the street when Whipper bolted away from a neighbors snappy dog and tripped her. Whipper escaped but came back to her before she got home. I was at the garden and missed the fiasco.

Getting up to 78 ˚F next week so we must enjoy the cool weather while it's here. (ok you can start throwing things at me now)

Good Morning!!!! 50F @ 6:00AM. Plentiful sunshine. High 63F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph.

Well at least neither David nor I can be blamed for the current PV back east. But I'll try to get an exhaust vent or two pointed that way to help with the thaw!

Thanks for the chuckles this morning, gang! You are all in rare form!:laughing::laughing:

REALLY long day yesterday, and it didn't help that I didn't really get back to sleep after a 2AM "Jim" break. Sleepy all the way over the mountains into Nevada, even missed a turn or two. No big deal, as the GPS automatically rerouted, but not like me, either. The seller turned out to be a guy my age with a little ranchette out in the desert and a nice, big shop. The R bike just wasn't his cup of tea, and his wife chided him he'd probably have something else by the weekend. The motorcycle looked and ran great, and the trip home was mostly uneventful, even though the snow banks along I80 over the Sierras were head high. That was as close to snow as I want to get this winter. Left the house at 7AM, was home and unloaded at 7PM, was sound asleep by 8:30. Actually, I was nodding off trying to watch a movie at 8:15 before I gave up and hit the sack.

As I rolled down the highway yesterday I remembered that AT&T was supposed to fix the phone line. I was a little concerned that I wouldn't be at the house if an AT&T tech came knocking, but when I checked status on the trouble ticket I need not have been. I've heard of excuses before, but I think this one may just take the cake:
Current Status

Pending Field Workforce Resolution

Your ticket has been tested and handed off to our AT&T Field work force for resolution. There is a jeopardy condition preventing the Field from completing its task. You will receive further status as it becomes available.

I'll take "Is This A Joke" for a hundred. Can you blame me for not pursuing AT&T as a wireless internet provider?

One last day of nice weather before the rain kicks in again tonight, so I'll try to get some downed trees moved out of the way and get some slope measurements for the building contractor. That means reading the instruction manual for the new laser level...:muttering:

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

It's 10° this morning for the low. Yesterday was sunny and in the upper 30's with a little bit of wind. They are calling for about the same for today.

Making the weekly trip to town this morning with the wife. The new tires on the ranger seems to work better then the ones that I replaced. I didn't have to put it in fore wheel drive to get up to the neighbors house. I ordered a new switch for the chop saw should get it in a couple of days.

Hope everyone stays safe and warm today.
CWB.
