Coffee is done brewing. 58° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 69° with mostly cloudy skies. Energy Efficiency visit turned out pretty much the way I expected. No changes needed. Not going to unplug phone chargers. Made a trip to Costco. Checked out their hearing aids. Made an appoint for hearing test in 2 weeks. Did spend any money yet. And did not get run over by a poor shopping cart operator. But it was close. Stopped on way back home at Harbor Freight to see what I didn't need. Managed to only spend $20. Have some maintainace and cleanup of wood working tools in shop today. That will be enough for today.

Mostly, you are right. Took a few minutes for the Comcast Box to come back on. Did change setting to turn off box when TV is turned off. Now have 2 power strips and no use for them. I will find a place to use them in shop.

As you say Drew up way to early, actually up at 5:15 with our grandson who is spending a long weekend with us, along with one of our grand daughters. He gets up at around 5 so here I am !
In Ct 70 to start going to 82 ! Humidity still here !

Been rumbling from storm going up east of us.

BEF, they made their way into CT by about 5pm yesterday, thunder lightning and some heavy rain for awhile ! Last night was the Old Timers Night at the FD, food was great along with talking about years past fires and MVA's. We have a nice overhead pavilion behind the FD, so we went out and had a nice cigar after dinner ! Good time had by all !

Yep, break out the puffy coats and gloves!

wngsprd, waiting patiently here for some of that nice cool crisp low humidity fall weather that so many of us up in the NE love !

Looks like intermittent showers today, so not the best of days. I dont think we get out of this pattern until sometime next week !
Bringing in my F150 on monday to have the rear bumper replaced from that rear end crash a few weeks back, hopefully that doesnt take too long !

Done, found his cell number from an old PM from 2008 when we were working on Harvey's bridge project. I woke him up from his afternoon nap so it took him a bit to figure out who I was. He said he is doing fine and might post today.

Good morning! No wind, a still 78˚ this morning there is no refreshing morning air, just feels like a cooling down oven that has been baking all day.

There was a 30% chance of rain today now I see it has been downgraded to 20% at 5PM when the wind changes from the North for 1 hour only.

Another heat advisory day with temps rising to 104˚F and HI of 109˚.

Getting lots of purrs this morning from Hospice, our inherited 18 yo cat, his house is 75˚.

51 cloudy under flood watch this afternoon heavy rain I’m not sold yet but looking forward to cooler temperatures next week. The hurricane still looks to provide the stimulus to change the countries weather pattern
