I have the same conditions as Jay. 8-9 inches of snow with ice pellets coming down all day.14 above with temps heading to -3. Wind is picking up right now with heavy gust all night. To heck with wind chills-I don't plan on leaving the house unless it's an emergency.
I got my yard cleaned up and headed over to the apartment house. My street wasn't touched at all the whole storm. Almost got stuck, my wife had to call the town office and ask them to come make at least one pass.
Tractor ran great! Love that cab. Will need to clean things up again once it warms up next week.

This afternoons high hit 51F. Snow is continuing to melt off, little by little. Some weather moving in tonight, but should just be light rain.

Mostly and you other guys in Tx, sorry, I did close the window...but...fogot to close the DOOR!

Jay, I feel for you! Being able to see the tractor just sitting there, all lonely, not being used. Stay warm my friend and stay off that knee!

Helped wifey do some domestic chores today, not much else.

It was 60 at 10:30 AM, it is 28 and dropping like a stone, wind gusting to near 30 so far, higher gusts are predicted.
Not historically cold or anywhere near it, but it has been so mild, it feels like it.

Only hit mid 30s on this side of the bay, before it dropped. 15F now.

33°F here this morning and it struggled to get to 51°F even with a mostly sunny day with the winds.

Today was a mostly "in the shop" day mostly doing cleanup and some reorganizing.

I finished disassembly of four of the nine old 8' fluorescent fixtures, that were installed under the "pavilion" and had a lot of surface rust. Removed the ballasts and everything will be recycled.

I'm still evaluating the five fixtures, that were installed in the shop. All work, good ballasts, and just need new fluorescent tubes. Checking to see if any friends or neighbors want to adopt them.

Thanks Rick, I just looked outside and it's darker and 1/3 of the moon is in eclipse.

Good evening all. 24F for the start, clear, calm wind. Mostly clear today, moderate wind, and high temp of 45F. Made it to chapel, totally forget this morning that the choir was singing :ashamed::confused2:. Rest of the day was energy conservation. Stepdaughter's boyfriend just finished drone school, and gave a demo this afternoon. Optics on camera were impressive (20mpix), you could pick out the shingle gravel pieces at 250ft. Did feed the stove today, it will need some clean out tomorrow. Eclipse is almost complete as of this posting.

-4 right now and the high today is to be -1 degrees...brrrrrr!

Doesn't appear to be much in the way of drifts, so I guess we didn't get the wind that was predicted. Still a wind chill warning though...
