Hellman's Real Mayonnaise was always our go to ...;)
Now it is GMO-laden, so we have further embraced Southern Culture and now use Duke’s/Sauer’s.

but it just ain’t the same…

Not tutoring Drew are you?

too funny, I took the drone up earlier and got the pic of my neighbor's house across the street she asked for,
then managed to fly it right into Comcast's line to my house. PWING and it spiraled into the lawn.
Blades were ok. Fired right up again and ran fine.
Funny, maybe it didn't hit it hard, due to its avoidance radar.

Mueller’s was a four-block walk from my house. It just got torn down, yet another residential Mega-tower going to go up.

my relatives usually went to Garfield, Wallington, and Passaic, while we went to Chinatown and Little Italy, since the PATH train was a block away from the house.
Grandfather first had the butter and eggs business in Newark, then had a building he rented in West Orange, currently the gas station right across from City Hall. Not a nice area at all. I used to have to drive there to check on it; family finally sold it to owner of the gas station, took a long note to pay back, which he did.
Very hard to get permitted for new gas station, so existing permit valuable to maintain.
I worked intensely in NJ from one end to the next, visiting every title insurance agency in the state.
Paterson NJ, now there's a sweet spot downtown.
There were no, as in zero, title agencies in downtown Camden. They had all fled to the suburbs.
yet go up to NW NJ and you are in another world.
You pass Tony Soprano land and leave the world behind, heading up into the NJ mountains.

I think my grandfather's first second home was a small place in Freehold. I guess that was getting out of the city
to a guy from Newark.
Then he bought the farm here in PA.

my brother sent me this pic of a 1950 F1 Ford he bought at car show this past weekend.
He said he would play with it and then give it to his grandson as a first car.
Tomorrow it goes into shop for seatbelts, disc brakes, etc.
It was restored at some point about 15 years ago, more pics to follow.
without power steering, this is sure going to steer "like a truck"

Good Evening Guys,
After looking for replacement motors for this old Craftsman compressor, and not finding proper bolt pattern for the pump to bolt on the motor, I decided to buy a new one ! I went to TSC and bought this unit for $599. I was planning on buying it outright but they offered me 0% for 12 Mo , so $50 and change per month ! This unit is a much better unit , it has an all cast iron pump and looks like it’s well manufactured ! If it lasts as long as the Craftsman I will be 102 ! 😂

Have a great evening !

GD was just discharged from Johs Hopkins after getting infusion of blood cells. She has an autoimmune disease that kills her blood cells. We were planning to have her out for camp fire with some of her friends. Hoping she will be able to come on Friday evening for her birthday

But it doesn't have any of the safety features of a new vehicle so will his parent let him accept the gift?
No seatbelts, no airbags, no crumple zones, no cross traffic alert, no back-up camera, no lane assist, no anti-lock brakes, no auto high beam, no auto windshield whippers, no collision alert, no adaptive cruise . . . .etc . . . .
