Good morning!!!!

I spent 45 minutes watching a raven figure out how to get to the suet cage hanging on our pear tree in a "branch restricting" spot. Not a lot of room within which it could move, but it figured it out. I'll bet its mate will learn the method pretty quickly through vicarious learning.

Ravens appear to be a lot smarter than I when it comes to the "suet game."

Still freezing rain falling, but the wet rain is coming.

It appears that a lot of women see their spouse/mate/BF to be as a potential "piece of work;" able to be shaped and molded into something "better."

It is fallacious, magical thinking closer to delusional thinking. We are already a developmentally "maxed out" as a "piece of work". ;)

Good news on Don.

Now we just need some feedback from Riptides.

Wild swings, got to 65 about 12, dropped to 60 in light shower, now it’s 71. I’m in the garage upholstering a bench for a lady I know, nice gal, social worker of sorts. Lost her husband about 7-8 years ago. No romantic interest but she’s more in my wheelhouse than the school teacher. She’s about 55 and thinks more on my level, which is about 13!

"...... "Don't get any ideas, you don't need that""- That quote must be in the super secret (never been seen by man) "Wives' and GFs' Training Manual for Husbands and BFs". Probably on page 78 of the manual.

I get that and "don't give me your psychological BS." a Lot

When the wifey saw me watching the links, she just gave me a strong non-verbal look that could probably weld the metal on the BH stand I want to make. After 35 years, I know what that look means. (well at least she lets me get "useful things") :) (mostly tractor stuff) :cool2::D

Cold and Windy w/ 40 mph gusts again:mad: not even going to try and go outside, bad enough to just let the pups out. Probably a good thing, I should just nurse the knee. Had a great nights sleep.. Only woke up twice. Not to bad this morning.
I've decided today will be "take-off" day. Need to get a true and accurate materials list. We have accumulated some materials, such as cabinets, HWH, all the flooring, etc, over the past year. I was going to order 2 more cabinets yesterday for a recent change we made to the plans, went and checked what we had already, low and behold we already have them! .... Must have thought about the change before... I 'm starting to get confused over what's needed and what we have. Need to do a better checklist for each phase of construction.

Good news that Don was just playing hooky from here, still concerned about Rip....

Hopefully everyone stays out of any bad weather...
Prayers out to those needing them.
Have an enjoyable day.

Another reason I don't think I'm cut out to be married. Most women just don't understand that need has nothing to do with anything.

You just need to find a good woman. You may have to look on other continents. It worked for me that way. ;-)

The bottom PTO on the Goldoni is also where the strong mechanical attachment point is-- so when not using it with the powered trailer, you can use it with any other two wheel tractor attachment. Except removing the powered trailer and putting on the handlebars takes at least an hour because a bunch of bowden cables for throttle, clutch and brakes have to be swapped, so I found it easier to go to Italy last year and get another one for doing the rotary plow and rotovator. The other one has reversible handlebars as well, it came with a snowblower that wasn't needed this winter and will be doing the hay rake.

The top PTO-- I don't know for sure what you use it for, though I've seen in classified ads from Italy and scans of old product manuals table/firewood saws that run off the PTO (and definitely wouldn't meet current CE requirements or CPSC in the US!), as well as water pumps and such. The bottom PTO has three speeds-- ground speed, ~500, and ~1000 which are independently selectable. The top one changes speed based partly on the speed you've selected for the wheels-- top speed being just a pass through to the engine of 3000RPM.

On the power trailer I think I could fit a hydraulic pump there, but one of the speeds is a reverse speed, so I'd need a pump that doesn't self-destruct going in reverse. Other option would be to mount it to the front of the engine which has a V-belt pulley, but then it would be sticking out to the side and just look ugly and get caught on brush.

Randy- Interesting continuum of female friends you have. I see nothing wrong with re-living being 13 again. It's too bad or maybe now it's lucky that the body now places limits and restrictions on the "fun factor."

LS- Since my RC craziness wifey now sees the tractor attachments in a more + perspective and actually having some use around here.

This Winter weather is "underperforming;" nowhere close to meeting snowfall expectations so far.

This sums up what some weather geeks think about this Winter. There are a lot of opinions as to the "WHY?" There may be another reason.

Someone did "Bad Muju" on Frosty. Poor Frosty.

The Ides of March event may become a snow bust for NE maybe MA coastal CONUS will hit the snow jackpot. It looks like a similar pattern setup ~ a week later.

I’ve always had a large number of female friends, a lot of men can’t grasp being friends with women. I’ve never understood why it mattered. My wife never had a problem with it, in fact we were both friends with a lot of them. I never had a problem separating friendship from romance. If all your friends are male, the conversation can get pretty stale.
