60 degrees and light rain high of 64 later another mild week on tap but three days showing rain. Wind is blowing about 5 mph very light rain drops. Neeed to go unload Ranger already unloaded zturn walk behinds weedeaters leaf blowers hedge trimmer on earlier run yesterday. The Ranger had to go back for miss cut hole in console. They ordered a new one installed switches in it at no charge. There are still companies out in this world that do the right thing. While they were doing the work wife an I rode to Farmville looked at furniture ate dinner picked up Ranger and got home at 11:00PM and thought unloading today would be better

The overnight low was 3*, yesterday was overcast and windy with a high of 22*. Today is going to be a mix of clouds and sun. The high will be in the mid 20's and the 20-30 mph wind is back.

I didn't get anything done yesterday's, I need to go out and clean up the snow drifts today so they don't over take the driveway. Then go and see if I can get a snow cat started for one of the neighbors.

Drew, I have about 3 or 4 chairs from work that are decent, but having my choice of many styles, I have what looks kind of "normal" but is actually a high quality foam/form fit chair.

RNG, good luck on your part's scrounging.

My kids are harping for a chicken coop. I know nothing about chickens. Hopefully, the oldest will study up.

Good morning or evening as it applies to everyone.

Last night's rain changed over to sleet/freezing rain. It's ~32F and freezing rain is falling. It may be this way the rest of the day. The NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for this area. The modeled ides of March weather event is still on the radar. With the predicted Atlantic blocking pattern the Mid Atlantic coastal states may see the focus of activity. Lots of pieces need to come together. It's a matter of the prevailing weather systems and system(s) enhancement(s), timing, tracking, and stacking of the pieces.

Freedomlives- Thanks for the history of the vermicomposting toilet system. In Costa Rica our center of operations had a 2 story sawdust system using very little water; no water was needed during the rainy season. A co-worker was sitting "on the second story throne" when a decent earthquake hit. He told me that it scared the "poo" out of him sitting and swaying up there. The structure was undamaged. In CR it is the custom to not put the toilet paper in the toilet after use. It goes in a little waste can by the toilet. I suggested that we try this at home. The suggestion just got me the blank "look" as her response.

Before we sell this place someday we will have to replace the existing septic system prior to sale.

A dreary day. A good day to drink coffee and hang out near the wood stove.

37 and heavy rain another day stuck inside unfortunately the dog doesn't understand that dad doesn't like going out to throw his toy in the rain and mom doesn't like the mud in the house when he is done playing.

66°F and another 1.57 inches rain, ready for some dry and sun.

Very nice luncheon with the retired military group. Lots of good food and the guest speaker was excellent. Dr Sue Jarvi of UH Hilo spoke on Rat Lung Disease, something most of you haven’t likely heard about but a growing concern here as it is most often transmitted via snails/slugs on produce.

Relax day here, except I will attempt the gimbal fix on my drone. FedEx emailed they attempted delivery of my cable on Fri and claimed we were closed. Guessing either driver didn’t attempt due to the rain or we didn’t see him at the gate.

Drew, just too too busy, but sure looks good.

Enjoyed your pics Freedom, a lot of effort there for sure.
