Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #129,421
Got down to 20 for the second night in a row, two of our coldest nights all year. High today 48, 40 right now. Then sixties and seventies for a few days, that’ll be nice.
We went to my FIL’s house yesterday to meet SIL’s new puppy, I probably could have found some other things to do, but...
Not too much planned today, but have a busy week after that.
Buppies, good luck on the surgery, and God bless.

Mostly, my son tells me the Tri Power setup is the drawback.
Have a good day.

Good morning to all! Low of only 35, going up to near 60. Going to get the storm front from RNG tomorrow.... only problem with that is it will only be wind, no precipitation. Wind, wind, and more wind Tuesday through Friday....

The sons were able to unload the lumber materials over the weekend, used the tractor to unload a full bunk of 4x6's that were still banded together. It took all the tractor could do, but it was able to lift it.

Today is first day of PT, well, an evaluation at least.... another session scheduled for tomorrow to actually do something....

Also need to go to the grocery store, the pre-surgery stockpile has finally dwindled down. Shouldn't be too big an order.

The side link for the tractor should arrive today. It won't get installed for a while, but at least I'll have it. Prices on everything have gone up and I don't think prices are going to come down, only up a bit more...

I hope everyone has a good day and start to the week!

Don, would that plastic house be a fire hazard? I didn't get audio on that video, so not sure what the material was.
It's not plastic it's cement, sand and other additives.

Toppop, the last time I called AT&T about their M-Cell they no longer will support it since they expect everyone to use the Wi/Fi signal. Since you have to plug it into a router they are correct in that everyone with the M-Cell has internet service. One problem they are saying with the M-cell is that any AT&T phone within range can use it and use your internet signal through the m-cell, it cannot be secured from others use.

No problem if you want it back. It is good if you do not have a wi/fi option on your phone and you are in a very rural area.(y)

31F and cloudy @ 10:00, turning partly cloudy later and headed up to a high of 57F for the day. Warmer through Friday, then cooler ... rain starts on Thursday, with a chance of rain/snow showers next Monday.

Heard coons going at it again last night ... so they are out and about, and quite active, judging from the sound of it.

Got last of living room tank water drained and gravel cleaned and stowed away in a Homer bucket while it dries. Need to move the tank this morning, level it, and then fill it. Drew another 12 gallons of water yesterday, which has probably warmed up by now.

Still have some equipment to clean up (heater, hoods, etc.) and locate/fix a leak on the canister filter. Hoping it is only an o-ring/gasket.

Need to put together a grocery order today, currently out of frozen shrimp (fish food), so need to put that on the order.

Amazon order out on truck(s) for delivery - looks like one will be Amazon and the other will be the Post Office.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ... (y)

Good afternoon, nice and dry here if you believe the forecasters, the rain that was been falling this morning must all be in my imagination. Got the first dozen ewes back yesterday afternoon, their lambs are not too impressed with my imaginary rain either.

Check, are you planning to move back back "down South" soon, or is Maple syrup season a good reason to stay in Dorset ?

Eric, try wrapping a clove hitch knot around your post and pulling up with FEL. I wonder how much deeper it goes down?

Kyle, thanks for suggestion, posts are 4' deep . My roping attempts didn't work well before, the best grip I got was with a ratchet strap, drawback was that needed quite a big hole to work the ratchet.

Ken, even if not completely finished, that seat looks a good place to take a rest while you ponder what you could do with all that sawdust :)

I don’t want or need it Don, I was just messing with you. I used it when my old iPhones weren’t supported for WiFi calling by AT&T. The phones were capable, but AT&T only supported 6s and up and we had 5’s back then. I’m glad you got some use from it but I think it’s time to recycle the carcass.

Good morning, 18°F now and a high of 37. Was 2 above zero when I left here this morning. Wind SE 8 mph. 30% chance of rain or snow.

I ran through freezing rain, both ways at Huntsville. Other than that it was an uneventful tour. Used a gallon and a half of windshield washer juice, but that is the way of winter in the north. I'm home now and plan on doing nothing for the rest of the day.

Have a safe day all

37°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 70° today.

Nice weather and calm winds on Saturday inspired The Wife to request I get a start on the burn pile. Rather than repeating my previous suggestion that some of it hasn't adequately dried yet, I went ahead and started it about 9:30 in the morning. About half of it burned quickly, while the other half just smoldered a bit. She seemed pleased, which I guess is all that matters.

Sunday got up into the low 60s, but breezier. Doing some outside stuff in the early afternoon, that breeze felt awfully cool, especially in the shade. Ended up retiring to the studio to work on a video for the funk tune I finished last weekend. The video editing program kept freezing up on me. While my studio computer seems to manage just fine with audio recording, mixing, and mastering, it definitely doesn't have the processor oomph for video work.

Fantastic pictures, gents.

RNG, do you have an air charger for your new iPhone? The KIA has a charging pad and I was hoping to get one for the house.

It costs me about $700 for the privilege of have our passengers go through the lobby at Signature BWI, I just checked, today’s fuel price there is $8.43 for Jet A (kerosene). So they ought to make it easy for you. You generally get what you pay for, I’ll never complain about signature service, just their predatory pricing.
It was a business expense for us, and as such was passed along to the customer as part of the emergency repair cost. I don't recall it was all that much more expensive (this was in '09, I believe) than buying three last minute commercial airline tickets on Good Friday, and it left us with the option to immediately fly home when we were done ... which we did later that evening.

66°F and 4.16 inches rain and it continues. 44.22inches ytd.

Looks like Sophie’s repaired mowers will remain non field tested a bit longer.

Need to make PO run this morning. Do some more inside piddling.

Zoom Happy Hour this afternoon

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

No, I don't. Still using a Lightning cable, the same one that worked with the old SE. Seems to work fine, and I figure I can do without a magnetic field on the headboard while I sleep.

Awake at 3.45 am. Got up at 4.30. Lovely steady rain which is badly needed. Had thunderstorms and drowning rain most of yesterday. I think the drought is broken. Hopefully the lawn will be re-established before winter.
Temp is 71 deg F and 94% humidity. Perfect for me. X-Rays today.
Lesley got up with me this a.m. Nice to have company. Dogs are all up and about and happy we are up.
Keeping you in mind for the 12th Buppies.
Kindest thoughts to all my cyber friends.
Doug

I did receive my new Tempest wx station today. Looks very doubtful it gets installed today, but I’m ready should we get appropriate lull.
