covid is real pita. I need to get a lot of small checks and cash to bank, but I'm locked in. I asked if they would take me in their van the five minutes to either ATM or branch office, but they are really paranoid about anyone going in or out. Will be interesting what they tell me. Finally found out what monthly charges are here, twice what they are in Pennsylvania, sure will pay for a van ride...very motivating for me to move as early as chemo allows me.

Do you have a APP on your phone for your Bank. Should be able to take a picture of check and deposit it.

66 going to 81 and probably more rain.

I'll try again, Happy Birthday Ron!!! (Nothin' wrong with having a 2-day birthday at this point, right?) Great hummingbird pic...I was outside earlier hanging feeders and once again, one came up to feed before I could get it hung while others buzzed my like I was the Control Tower in Top Gun.

RS, thanks for the K-Pad info. I've also used Messick's and been very pleased with their service.

BEF, remarkable recovery on the GBS. By the way, you run into any traffic problems on your "commute" last night?

Thanks for your concerns for Coco. Many of you have dogs, so know how special they can be. We've been fighting a skin/hair loss issue since November...tested low for thyroid, so pills twice a day, and many antibiotics. It got better in March and by end of April was normal, but took a turn for the worse in May and went severe rapidly last weekend with sores and fever/loss of appetite. By taking her to the emergency vet, got some gabapentin for pain, and a referral to a great dermatologist, where she spent 3.5 hours yesterday. Many tests cultures and 5 biopsies/stitches. Using a different antibiotic and prednisone, like your dog, Kyle. Ear wash and drops. Something called "Magic Mouth" squirted in before eating. Stopped apoquel and the cefpodoxime she was on in case it is a reaction to these. Test results back in a week. She is getting canned food for the first time...boy did that perk up her appetite. Need to take her temp when she gets up - not pushing her. She'd normally be outside with me at dawn. I did get her reinterested in the frisbee and Dokken yesterday, but only at a jogging speed. Derm vet thinks auto-immune disorder.

Looking forward to getting her back to this...

I got a huge container of gabapentin left over. Didn’t know they would give to dogs, but was for nerve pain. Hope coco gets better.

Can’t get motivated to make the long commute this morning.
Our youngest cat has gotten very demanding lately. Sometimes I let it work with me, but it’s restless, won’t lay still. It likes to go to bed with me, lays under blanket for about 15 minutes, then comes out and starts playing, knocking things off night stand.
Saw our green hummer yesterday. We don’t have feeder, but it checks out the flowers.
Got a loud mockingbird that hangs around. It’s yapping now.

Happy birthday Ron.
My retirement funds also took a big hit, so guess I better get to work.

Ron, my sister mentioned this to me and I'm clueless. I have an older Iphone, the very smallest one, and very hard to work tiny buttons. But I can take pictures.
If I'm locked in here, maybe be my only way. Thanks
I'm going to call local Wells Fargo branch office this morning and get some advice. I assume the app comes from them.
I found nothing worthwhile on phone except Uber app, which I've never tried

Good morning! 70s to 90s partly cloudy getting dry.

Drew, my brother just uses the bank "pic of check deposit".

Ron "Happy Birthday"!!!

Good news on the Mom home front, she now has a NP that makes house calls during her home PT and the NP will continue after the 4-8 weeks of PT. This will make it easier for her to stay put longer especially during these covid times.

Wngsprd - hope Coco continues to improve and can soon pull trees out of the stream again.

Hit the App Store icon on the phone, search Wells Fargo. They have a banking app install it. I’m sure it does mobile check deposits.

There’s also a great TBN app in the App Store.IMG_5039.JPG

65 going up to 74, had 1/2inch rain yesterday, then sun and may be somewhat sunny today.

Happy birthday Ron, great hummingbird pic. The other day while watering the garden with a hose a hummingbird flew right up and took a drink!

Rabbits are multiplying, seems the fox can;t keep up with squirrels and rabbits.

Doe and fawn were back and hanging out with the Doe that lives on my property. Maybe she will make friends and find a mate so she doesn;t have to sleep under my stairs.

Drew - sorry to hear you are in lockdown, but at least there is an outside area. Any improvement on the food?

Will work on Cherry stump again today

Stay Safe and be well.

68F and mostly cloudy @ 09:30. Calling for a high of 78F today, with a 50% chance of thunderstorms.

Got the parts (o-ring, gland nut, piston assembly, nut) installed on cylinder rod yesterday and Loctited the nut, decided to give 24 hours to fully cure before reassembling any further.

Also got all the remaining sides of the creeper parts coated in boiled linseed oil. This time I'm leaving it on longer to really soak in before wiping off the excess.

Primary plans for today are to place a Menards order for pick up and give reassembling the hydraulic cylinder a shot. Might start painting the walls up in the shop.

Hope everyone has a productive, enjoyable, and safe day.

If his phone is old enough, it may not be capable of running a new enough iOS version to be compatible with the Wells Fargo app.

Might be time for phone upgrade.

RS, thanks for the K-Pad info. I've also used Messick's and been very pleased with their service.

My pleasure.

Yup ... I've used them a time or two and no complaints about their service.

Though lately I've found that prices through my local dealer to be (slightly) better, no added cost for shipping, and quicker on actually receiving the parts.

Best wishes for a quick and full Coco recovery.

Been keeping grill doors open to discourage mouse making a nest. This morning the grill brush was on the deck. Then here they came.

in quantity, yes. I got three hard boiled eggs this morning instead of one.
If I get out of here without a stent put in I'll be lucky. Everything is high fat, high salt, and you'd think they'd have a dietician
making suggestions on healthy food I can eat within my diet. Nope...
So I ask for extra vegetables, which I don't get, I bet if I weighed the little pile I get it would be one ounce.
Fine for little old ladies, not fine for me. I dream of a mound of fresh cooked beans...
And remember going out to the garden, picking all those beans and cooking them up that night. Simply marvelous.
Well, two months of this won't kill me but I repeat seriously count-intuitive for folks trying to heal/get healthy by feeding them
unhealthy food. But this is the South and they are stuck in their ways, comfort food all the way.

I sucked it up and put out a plea to ladies in Garden Club to see if they would bring me some healthy home cooked food.
If that works out, I'll be a super happy camper. We are what we eat, just ask Don, and it pains me to eat stuff I know isn't good for me.

Good morning to all! As usual, still dry and no rain. High today going for 88 again.

Bruce, that haze is definitely not humidity.... it has been hovering around 8%. That is why the storms are not giving us any rain... the rain is evaporating before it hits the ground. I t is really, really dry.

Where is Jay?

Where is Bird?

Ken, I have to admit, I really miss Bucks County. I bed if I moved back, it would not take me long to complain about the rain though....5-7 days straight is too long. I bet it is really green there now for sure!

Finished up all the wall panels in the hobby shack, today is paint day. Hopefully it will not take too long, but I am anticipating it will probably take 3 coats.

RNG, now that the solar project is completed, what are you going to do with all your free time?

Everyone have a great day and start to the weekend!

Rich - hope you get the internet issues sorted out. Unfortunate you have to go back into the office. I can guarantee you the cats will miss you. Enjoy the race (and the additional company :D)

Drew - thanks for the tip/rec on the shampoo ...

LCR - Good luck on the stump extraction. Can't imagine you'll need it though - given the size of the tractors you have, you ought to be able to pop it right out.

Bup - hope the rain lets up for you.

Ron - Happy Birthday ! ... and thanks for the hummer pic ...

Kyle - check the condenser to make sure it's not clogged up ? I've been surprised at the amount debris I've had to clean out of them on several vehicles here. (Also know that neither the car or van cool all that well unless one is rolling)

MG - LOL ... yeah ... no real hurry on those seal kits ... ;) ... and we're fine on the boiled linseed oil too ... enjoy the roller stool ...

Ted - Hope you get some rain.

64°F and clear skies again this morning, going up to 91° today. Forecast keeps shifting. Now, no rain for the weekend, and only Monday and Tuesday next week. Temps will be dropping back into the low 80s, though, for the first half of the week.

Stopped at Rural King on the way home yesterday to pick up a few things. The place was practically empty but for the employees and a small handful of customers. That store is usually bustling. Did a few things around the house, then got out around 7:30-ish for a short 4.1 mile bike ride. A couple steady hills, but nothing unbearable. I could see that being a regular ride. It's basically riding "around the block" to the north of us.

Happy Birthday, Ron. Another great pic.

While walking back from the chicken coop last night, Ken, I heard a rabbit squeal a couple times, then go silent, somewhere across the road. Something had a tasty meal.

Drew, hope the Garden ladies come through before you need a stent.
Just tell the kitchen you eat low fat Vegan.

Old dentist has now canceled the sterilization fee and will return it if you paid it on your next visit because He was approved by the Federal Cares Program, which funded the expenses. Too late my new dentist never charged the extra fee.

Our covid19 cases spiked up and more mask are appearing while shopping. Austin has mandatory mask.

Saw a story this morning that apparently Chicago has evolved it's own unique strain of coronavirus. That didn't take long.
