Bill if you got stopped at that weight over, what would ticket cost you? Just cost of doing business?
Probably cost me a bawling out, and an assurance from me that hauling out of this terminal i forgot to leave the lead trailer down an extra 1/2".
They do allow the log haulers 5% overweight for snow loads in winter and that carries over to summer for mud.
Remember i am legal at just 2.8 lbs short of 140,000 lbs. I can fit legally in the tanks what you Americans gross and still have room for more.

I sure am happy that you are finally sprung from jail/hospital.

My bike is 24 inch frame and 27 inch rims. I don’t remember the tire size. I put big butt seat on mine to pad my bottom. Mine is an 18 speed (6x3), but I rarely get out of the mid ranges any more.

thanks. That really is an amazing amount of weight to pull. I drove a semi one summer during college, well it was a triaxle boom sod truck, and if it rained the night before, you could really feel the weight. Going around curves was eye opening for a novice. Here I was, 19, going to a good college, owner looked at me and said if I could get in that college, I should be able to drive the truck. No CDL,no nothing... I sure learned defensive driving with that truck, intersections were constantly looking both ways even with green and trusting no one, because the loaded truck wouldn't stop for beans, brakes just faded. V10 Ford with a four speed and high low red pull button. It was actually good training, used my side mirrors a lot more after that.

I watch a lot of youtube videos, many of truck accidents and surprising how many big rigs just run into back of lined up cars creating utter havoc. Also amazing how cars do really stupid things around big trucks, like cutting in too close, clipping front bumper and for sure they lose. I watch those videos and sure reminds me to stay far away from other cars on road. In stopped traffic, I look for a big rig that is keeping long distance to car in front, then I get in front of them, carefully, and do the same. With multiple vehicles distanced a ways, seems to have additive effect on safety, more time to react and brake. I always thought the vehicle that hit their brake lights the least was driving the safest.

what size engine does your truck have? Has to be over 500hp.

   / Good morning!!!! #114,024
It is a C15NZ Cat rated at 475 hp turned up to 550. 18 spd manual transmission on 46,000 lb 3:80 rears. Steer axle is 14,600 lb.
I prefer to run 12,000 lbs on the steer, but as long as I don't go over 14,600 lbs I am good to go. Running 1100R22.5 tires all the way around. Lug tires on the drives year round (I do a lot of running in gravel pits). You better sit down, the fuel mileage is 5.4 miles to the US gallon.

Another 10 hr work day. Not too bad since my commute is just down the hall.

Changed oil in pilot tonight. Wanted to do Subaru also, but was too worn out. Dropped the oil fill cap down in the front of the engine, took awhile to find.

Got warmer and humid today after the rain shower.

Billy, what's wrong with Coco? I hope Coco dog gets better quickly. When my Golden was a healthy 5 or 6 years old, he started having trouble eating or drinking. I took him to vet, and was sent on to a specialist. It was a touch and go situation for a couple of days. Specialist said his immune system was attacking his trigeminal nerve in the front part of his head (muzzle, mouth, tongue). We had to give him a lot of prednisone at first, then slowly taper off as his white blood cell count determined.

Hope your MIL is improving too.

Eric, hope you picked some for the wifey. I did not see her cup full across the table from yours. :)

BEF, you had a rough go of it last year. I remember cringing and praying, reading your saga.

Drew, the new party at 2 guy is IN THE HOUSE!!!

RNG, hope your solar will supply all your needs. Just wait til the wimens find out you've got air conditioning. You will need a chitty mop to beat them off. I suppose the one you really owe the return favor to is the one who let you stay at her place last year.

Sodamo, that glass of suds you mentioned sounds pretty good right now.

I just finished putting some r134 with dye in my old impala. Need to find a slow leak. It didn't seem to cool well, until I took it out on the backroads and got it up to 55mph or so. It almost seemed like it had something clogging it up. After driving it, it started cooling decent....but I have to remember, the AC system has 330,000+ miles on it, although I changed the tube with the expansion valve in it last year. my old gages are old and need replacement.

Prayers for our team.

Need to pour first cup of coffee. 58° with mostly clear skies this morning. Heading to 86° with mostly cloudy skies. Got week killer down, lawn mowed and trimmed yesterday. Today I need 22 more years to become a Centenarian. Going out to lunch with 2 of my aunts. No other plans.
Got my flying Hummingbird picture at feeder yesterday. I need to use other camera which is faster. But this one is OK.

Good morning. It a very nice 72° this morning and calm winds. Our forecast is for only 89° this afternoon with rain chances improving the next few days. We really need 5he rain.

I've got to head over to the Richmond house, to do a couple of things, this morning. Then .. go get horse feed and fill some gasoline cans.

I pretty much got the four dead trees cleaned up yesterday. I had to cut the tall one (38') into roughly 10' logs to get between all the other trees.

One of the four broke off right above the ground so .. I've got a stump to "deal with".

View attachment 660177

I'll either soak it in diesel and burn it in place ..or put my rarely used "stump bucket" on one of the tractors and give it a go. I rarely have a dead tree break off so .. don't get much practice with the SB.

Drew .. are they afraid you'll make a "run" for it .. if they let you outside?

I sighted a doe with triplets a couple of days ago and saw them again last evening. Too far away to get a picture with my iPhone. I need a lens, like Ron's, for my Cannon. We've got at least four sets of twins but .. these are first triplets this year. They're just over a week old.

Ron .. nice H. Bird picture. Ours are getting very active now.

Don .. you gonna give Mostly a run!

Hope everyone has a great Friday and enjoyable weekend.

Prayers to all.

covid is real pita. I need to get a lot of small checks and cash to bank, but I'm locked in. I asked if they would take me in their van the five minutes to either ATM or branch office, but they are really paranoid about anyone going in or out. Will be interesting what they tell me. Finally found out what monthly charges are here, twice what they are in Pennsylvania, sure will pay for a van ride...very motivating for me to move as early as chemo allows me.

had my shower, shaved and used new argan shampoo. Boy is that stuff nice, makes hair super soft and stops most dry skin itching. Highly recommend it, nice stocking stuffer for spouses. Lots of different choices, this was reasonably priced on Amazon, only use a little bit

Good morning! 64 now, maybe 80 later. Chance of rain again today. It rained lightly off and on yesterday with one good rain at one point. Garden and yard needed it.

Haven稚 been commenting much, internet has been wonky for 2 weeks. Allegedly fixed yet again yesterday, worked for an hour. So far this morning, it is functioning. I am actively looking for an alternate service so I can simply cancel this one. I have had enough.

Got sad news yesterday. I have to go back into the office starting July 6. I have really enjoyed working from home. I think the cats will miss me. Every day, all 3 take turns getting attention. Louie, the Maine Coon, sits by my chair every day and talks to me. He gets his head rubbed, he talks some more.

Waiting for parts for one of the Craftsman tractors. Drive belt shredded, one of the idler sheave bearings will barely turn. Found another one that wobbles. Ordered everything on Amazon on Tuesday, everything available, but up to 2 week delivery. So much for Prime quick delivery. Fortunately the other one I just put head gaskets in is running good.

Going to a race tomorrow night, weather permitting. Wife is going with me for once to see what this is all about.

Everyone get well.

And everyone stay safe out there
