He basically does it for fun, really enjoys trying to “ ham it up”. Once the garage is built, his videos will be more about his passion... working on his Jeep.
Someone liked to play with the glue.

Just finished chewing out an ECU nurse for taking 9 days to call with results of tests that they got the same day.

No need to send out a search party for Irv. He is doing good. Just staying away from social media for a while. Going to have coffee with him next week.
Easy fix on awning, nogo on lights. No access to wiring in rear as they built the oem light into a box, lot of labor at 150 dollars an hour. I promptly said no. Rained on and off.

Finished up with a nice sunset and a couple fingers of moonshine on the back porch. Purely analgesic, of course!
Thanks, though I'm struggling to find itEric asked for a snow picture a few days ago.

Hope you get a handle on BP. Neat camper.Hey folks, had a cardiologist appointment early, BP has been acting goofy. Switching back to old regimen of drugs.
Day started at 54°, dropped to 40° now. Light rain off and on all day, heavy stuff the next couple of days. Like Buppies, a lot of rain and above normal temps. Moved some old shingles and buried them, then cleaned up the Monte Carlo yesterday, didn’t get a lot done today.
Ellen’s dad and sister both sick with different ailments. But both seem to be under control.
My son and daughter in law got back Sunday from a whirlwind trip to SE OK to pick up the Patriot camper they bought. Took about three weeks to get to the dealer from Australia. Pretty nice from what I can tell.

Ted nice nap, no nap for me today. Am enjoying watching the garage videos.
40 and rain, going to 55. Buppies, glad we're not supposed to get as much rain as you...only 3+.
Today would have been Bob Marley's 75th birthday. RIP.
Randy, cool trailer.
Don, ever heard of Copper Shot Distillery in Bastrop? Saw that it was to be featured on a show I occasionally watch on RFD...Texas Bucket List. Looked like a cool place in a very historic building.
Picked up the last rounds from the lightning tree yesterday, other than the log bridge. Then cleared fallen branches out of the creek upstream around the real bridge, and dug out the collected sand...felt like I was guilty of channelization, which I learned back in geology class was a bad thing...but it will help keep the stream flowing well rather than a clog forming. Rain arrived and ran me inside for a while.
We have another short timer in the building!Good morning, I have been away working away since Tuesday and now I have quite a bit of catching up on here.
Not that I do much nowadays, being self employed it has been easy to reduce my engineering work to no more than a couple of days a week, most of which can be done from home. For most of my life the retirement age was set at 65 for men, then they raised it to 66 for people my age, when we get to draw our state pension. Although I quite enjoy what I do, I am not so keen on the travelling and after a lot of thought, decided that I will keep with the old tradition and call it a day when I get to 65 in October. I am sure I will find plenty of inspiration on here to fill the days after that![]()
