Good morning!!!!

Drinking first cup of coffee. 22ー light snow this morning. Heading to 29ー with off and on light snow. Paid property taxes yesterday. Stock up on milk and snack just in case weather guessers were wrong. They were. We got about 1". Forecast were for up to 6".
Call to Turbotax did not get my tax filing problem solved. They refunded my money. Now I need to find someone to check return out before being mailed. :confused3: Interesting that when I mail it in it goes to Fresno, CA. :confused2:

RNG, I will pass that to Irv. I need to find my TBN hat so we will know each other.

David, Don and I enjoyed doing many things during our visit each year. One of the thing I miss after retiring was the people I got to work with every day. I enjoy working with others. As a field engineer/tech I got to meet many new people.

Looking, silly rules. Oklahoma roads my son was driving on yesterday. I35.

Drew, I am with RNG on the lights. I could get them installed. One the threads on a Class C forum. Show a upgrade similar to what you want.

Mostly, yes Irv was taking a break. Decided to extended it.

Hawkeye, best wishes for getting retirement.

Roy, glad you had help with battery.

Buckeye, good news on FIL and wife coming home.

Randy, I some good off road adventures in sons future.

Thomas, I miss the Boo Boo stories. Hope spring arrives early.

LS, your son has a good sense of humor. Like the video.

Jay, all those weather maps will keep you busy.

Good Morning All.

Finished up with a nice sunset and a couple fingers of moonshine on the back porch. Purely analgesic, of course!

Pretty sunset RNG. With that and the moonshine "analgesic", all it needed was some Hendrix playing to close the day in a Purple Haze

Purple haze, all in my brain
Lately things they don't seem the same
Actin' funny, but I don't know why
Excuse me while I kiss the sky

Good morning all.
Warm morning, 63 out with high in 70's and several inches of rain predicted. Going to be a very wet day and night. I have grass seed down, so this is good.

as for my rv lights, they were happy to re-engineer the cable runs, but their labor rates are nuts, 150 an hour and for gens, 175 an hour. Ron, did you ever see an rv shop with rates that high? As in many rv's and boats, builder stuffs wiring in spots with no access, and covers it all over, so takes a while to get to things. I'll try to find a local shop.
Looks super simple from outside; admit I've never been comfortable drilling into cars or boats.

Feel pretty good this morning though not able to sleep through the night. Need more REM sleep.
Off to podiatrist this morning, number two, who I will likely say goodby to. I don't think they can fix my foot and it's been over a year and not going anywhere. Just dull ache in one spot, which I'm guessing may have more to do with my arthritis than anything else. I get the impression these guys are like chiropractors, they want you to just keep coming back and back. I have bigger challenges and want to reduce the doc visits.
Tomorrow I get MRIs of my neck and back, that's the one I'm concerned about. Neck is going crunch, crunch and crunch.

Lot of you getting lots of snow, be careful out there.
No snow at all here this winter, like Buppies, and likely won't get any. What we will get is a cold snap, always happens after Spring flowers come out.

I looked at this yesterday at rv place. Wish I could afford it...they recommend a Super C vs diesel pusher class A for ride. ? Likely because they sell it...

Good morning, I have been away working away since Tuesday and now I have quite a bit of catching up on here.

Not that I do much nowadays, being self employed it has been easy to reduce my engineering work to no more than a couple of days a week, most of which can be done from home. For most of my life the retirement age was set at 65 for men, then they raised it to 66 for people my age, when we get to draw our state pension. Although I quite enjoy what I do, I am not so keen on the travelling and after a lot of thought, decided that I will keep with the old tradition and call it a day when I get to 65 in October. I am sure I will find plenty of inspiration on here to fill the days after that ;)

Rick, your pressure washer has an almost identical rating to the one I was thinking of. I like your solution to making it portable, possibly I could make one to hold the washer and a 1000 litre IBC. I guess the water tank would need to be baffled, so the trailer didn't tip when the water sloshes inside, mmmm could be a good retirement project ...

Mostly, carfully you don't hurt your back clearing all that "snow". :D

Eric asked for a snow picture a few days ago.
Thanks, though I'm struggling to find it
I can稚 download the pic for some reason.
CWB.
Oh, it must have melted. :)

Wng, you are welcome to borrow my mud sucker when you get tired of digging that sand by hand. Yes, the Alien is still there, constantly growing. It took quite a bit of wading last year to keep it in check and I have been adding dye again to reduce the light and slow it's growth now it is too cold to go paddling. My hope is that the trials on the biological control come good and that the tiny mite that feeds on it's shoots gets approval for release in the UK before it takes over the other ponds.

LS, you son's self effacing presentation style is great to watch and that warm father/son bond shines all the way through, right up to the closing "If dad were a little younger ... we could have done a whole lot more in a day". Do you have to climb up on a step ladder to clip his ear ? :)

Drew, NeXus RV is owned by ex Gulfstream employees. Has a fairly good reputation. Jayco makes the Seneca. Renegade builds the Verona. Dynamax builds the Force HD.
My Super C was at least $100k less than they sell for today.

E muffin time. :licking:
4" snow fallen so far and by the looks of the radar 11ish to 3pm there will be lull between two storm systems, and that's when I do quick clean up....fingers we don't get the rain.

Enjoy the day all.

No need to send out a search party for Irv. He is doing good. Just staying away from social media for a while. Going to have coffee with him next week.
Good news, tell him Howdy from me.

Hey folks, had a cardiologist appointment early, BP has been acting goofy. Switching back to old regimen of drugs.

Day started at 54°, dropped to 40° now. Light rain off and on all day, heavy stuff the next couple of days. Like Buppies, a lot of rain and above normal temps. Moved some old shingles and buried them, then cleaned up the Monte Carlo yesterday, didn’t get a lot done today.

Ellen’s dad and sister both sick with different ailments. But both seem to be under control.

My son and daughter in law got back Sunday from a whirlwind trip to SE OK to pick up the Patriot camper they bought. Took about three weeks to get to the dealer from Australia. Pretty nice from what I can tell.

Hope you get a handle on BP. Neat camper.

Ted nice nap, no nap for me today. Am enjoying watching the garage videos.

I believe losing sleep is partly due to aging. Naps ruin my night sleep sometimes. Between BPH, NBW (natural born worrywart), I lose quite a bit of sleep.

40 and rain, going to 55. Buppies, glad we're not supposed to get as much rain as you...only 3+.

Today would have been Bob Marley's 75th birthday. RIP.

Randy, cool trailer.

Don, ever heard of Copper Shot Distillery in Bastrop? Saw that it was to be featured on a show I occasionally watch on RFD...Texas Bucket List. Looked like a cool place in a very historic building.

Picked up the last rounds from the lightning tree yesterday, other than the log bridge. Then cleared fallen branches out of the creek upstream around the real bridge, and dug out the collected sand...felt like I was guilty of channelization, which I learned back in geology class was a bad thing...but it will help keep the stream flowing well rather than a clog forming. Rain arrived and ran me inside for a while.

wng, hope the rain doesn't wreck your plans. be careful if swamp freezes. Have not been to Copper Shot, I don't drink that much anymore...especially away from home. Whiskey tasting rooms are cropping up all over. Love the Texas Bucket List show.

We have another short timer in the building!

Snowed a dusting last night in Austin, but not here. Only stayed on the grass, melting now.

My buddy brought me a case of Point Brewery beer. from Stephens Point brewery Wisconsin. Lager. It is delicious. I owe his dad a favor.

PJ, my buddy here has the floor Helix, my other buddy at work has the rack mount Helix...$1700 bucks....It's costing a lot to have a GAS problem. I guess it substitutes a lot of other instruments. Have fun with it. Refresh my memory, did you get the Line 6 guitar too?

Ted, enjoyed the video. Liked when you photobombed him when he couldn't load the nailer. He's got the gift of gab and presentation. Maybe should be a news team guy.
what is Nawrocki?

Good morning! Where is my snow shovel! The pitch fork is just not working well. 29˚F as soon as it's light I get to build a snowman, oh oh snow angles also. Wait do I need those spiked clampons.
