60 and windy...low clouds before the rains this afternoon and temp drops back down below freezing.
Some of Christmas decorations have blown all over the place from last night's strong winds.
Sharpened all of my chainsaw chains yesterday. I usually hit about 75% on getting them done right using a clamp on guide and sliding file set up.
Heading to a friend's surprise birthday party this afternoon.

Good morning one and all.
A crisp 11 degrees this morning at my place. I think we are headed for low 20's. I have a fire going, nice and warm in the house. Wish I was there to enjoy it. I am at work today then on vacation for the week.:thumbsup:

good morning all. Lot of folks are counting down the days until some time off; all the teachers for sure.
Came out of dinner last night to 60 degrees and light winds, did feel like a Florida winter night.
silly warm out today, 60 now going to 77 before the front comes in dropping temps. About an inch of rain predicted for tonight, wet period ahead.
So I think I'm going to put some shorts on to celebrate December....and go down and work on machinery today.
Should be nice until the rain comes.
Got out on the dance floor a little last night for the xmas dinner dance, I'm a terrible dancer, not something that comes easily to me, though enjoy the experience. Brings back memories of disco lessons in the 70's, twirling around to Saturday night fever, looking like an epileptic chicken out there. :ashamed: But better to try...

Poured second cup of coffee. 45° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 62° with lots of sun. Dog is doing good this morning. But need to go out to dog park every 3 hours. I need more sleep. Not much planned today. Have a Christmas concert to attend late afternoon.

Strange day here today. After several days with morning lows in the teens (lowest was 11F on Thursday/Friday overnight) it warmed up from 32F and freezing rain at sunset to 50F and light rain now. At least while there was ice on the trees the winds were calm.

Back in from clearing the drive and walks. Made one stupid mistake...I forgot to spray anti-stick (Pam) on the blower chute and, boy, did it clog!!! Took me close to half an hour to get it cleaned out so I could finish
Wife asked me to leave to snow on the back deck so the pup would have traction...that's OK with me!
I guess I'm done for the day...

26 degrees here and with 20 mph + winds feels like is 16 degrees. I'm good with that because my little brother, south of Des Moines, is enjoying -13 degrees / feels like -28.
