those sheep pictures were some of the coolest things I've seen. Great job Eric.
I think you can see them salivating over that grass.
Basic animal instinct. Get to where the good food is.

thanks Kyle.

Good Morning! 63F @ 5:15AM. Abundant sunshine. High 91F. Winds light and variable.

Good to hear your little man is on the mend, Farmer.

Those sheep knew that the grass is always greener, Eric. But once past the gate, was it all that much greener clear over on the other side of the pasture?

Gonna be a heck of a fire when you light that off, Drew. Hope you share some pics...

The old FEL on the Kubota was creaking and groaning carrying trees to the wood yard yesterday, especially one oak with a big ol' root ball. Ended up just dragging it the last half of the way. But how nice to buck the wood with the FEL holding it nice and high, much easier on an already sore back. That fun lasted 'till about 2:30 when it was time to head into town for groceries and errands. Picked up another five gallons of E0 to replace what I used in the generator and cover what looks to be a lot of chainsaw and splitter work once the weather cools off some more.

This morning I'll try pushing that big wood stack down hill and onto the little access road so I can bucket it over to the wood yard and stay off what's left of the grass. That means going lower on the hill to where I haven't been before where it looks less steep, There I can hopefully push sideways without getting too tippy. ROPS up, seatbelt tight...

Good morning everyone. Got grand daughter and wife off on plane and then back to house the long way through west Arkansas. Pretty country.
Bed early and got up yesterday prepared to get some much needed stuff done as my "helper" wasn't very productive.

Then my buddy called. Wanna go fishing? And away we went. Did good and got them cleaned and boat put away before it started raining HARD here in SE OK.

Today is get some work done day, haircut day and get the house shut down before I fly out Monday. Grounds wet so I'll won't do much with the tractor other than maybe start installing the Worklights on the ROPS.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning! 70˚ heading to the mid 90s, clear skies, no wind.

Good picture story Eric.
Drew - If I wasn't downsizing I would get a mowing tractor like yours.
RNG - Sounds like you will have some butt exercise today.
Lenny - what a happy hood ornament!

Ok, today I'll take down the limb. I cleared out around the tree and put in a platform (upside down water trough). The limb is about 8' high where it connects to the trunk and 14" diameter so the harbor freight 8" pole saw can't be used.

68 this morning and headed to 89 today. Rain chances pickup tonight.

Hays all baled. Rain played out before getting here. 137 bales here at the house. Over 250 this fall cutting. 4x5's approximately 1,000 lbs. each. Dirt work for bin pad is done. Need to get some pictures.

As for today it's going to be a clean up baler and go get form boards and rebar. Try to get pad formed for concrete. Then check on cows a couple of times. Had 2 new bull calves yesterday. Will try for pictures also.

Eric. Nice ewes. My cows usually include some jumping and kicking. They also move themselves as soon as I open the gate and ask if they want to eat.

Drew. How's the MF handle the dump trailer?

Good morning all. 63 this morning going to 74 with a 20% chance of showers this am. Will take it easy today, will eat some cake and make a run to the PO. Other than that will take it easy.

Larro Your sister and I share the same birthday. Tell her happy birthday for me.

Eric, If you had painted your sheep black it could have been my heard of angus doing the same thing. Thanks, I miss them, good memory.

Lenny Enjoy your hood ornament, blink twice and she will be out of high school.

Drew Reminds me of my 255, hope yours is as good as mine was.

RNG Be careful and take your time.

Have a great day Ed

I take it you're not a Cougar Fan Kyle?

Actually, I've been a Coug fan for many decades. Been to a couple of Bluebonnet Bowls way back as a young 'un. My uncle was alumni. Phi Slamma namma. Even have a UofH hat signed by Carl and Carol Lewis.....but when the chips are down, I bleed maroon. :)

Lenny - terrific picture of your grand daughter on the tractor. I bet you will be looking at that one for years to come.

Where's the fish picture??? :)

Sorry Kyle, I seem to have used up my picture storage space quota for the day ;) Instead you will have to imagine something like Lenny's catch - or perhaps slightly smaller

If you have the patience, there may be something to see soon - I'm resurrecting the old alien thread.

Ahh, the limb is down. It fell right where I was standing, I kind of figured it would so this morning I cleared at an escape route and used my 2.5 seconds to vacate the area.
Cleanup was easy with the grapple and the small stuff with the (baby) dump trailer.

Don't they believe you are plant based?

No, they think all humans only want to eat their babies and steal the milk. ????:D

They don't realize they are only 97% correct.

How was the land tour today?

Ron, you've got all kinds of neat stuff to look at there. Enjoy.

No dump trailer, could not justify cost, though it would mean not wrecking my nice small steel trailer, as picking things up and dumping them in there with the fel is going to catch up with me. I've been super careful but sooner or later I'm going to dent the thing. Sure did that to the last trailer...
Dump trailer is high on my Santa wish list. And about as likely. But it's almost three months to Christmas so I'll be dropping hints and staying good. :dance1:

I wonder if Walmart has their Xmas decorations up yet. As in many fine residential areas of the world, a few of my neighbors have never taken theirs down. A cheery group. And they love being able to see the last thirty or forty years of worn out cars still with them on their front lawn. They make just the cheeriest lawn ornaments don't you think?

Don, all I could think of in those pics was oh no don't you dare touch those beautiful pavers

Lenny, your granddaughter could not be more adorable if she tried.
maybe in ten years you two could do it again...;)
