Good Morning! 68F @ 6:30AM. Some clouds this morning will give way to generally sunny skies for the afternoon. High 93F. Winds SSW at 10 to 15 mph.
Now I understand why the flail needed a new belt, David. That albizia looks like nasty stuff!
Kyle, good luck with the teacher. You'd think the admin staff would have learned something the previous year, and done a better job with the class assignments?
Nice winch work, Drew. Though a real redneck would have gotten the job done with an old chain and a telephone pole. But that might have led to roof dents in the truck, so your way was probably much safer!

Spent most of yesterday sanding the small ridges the masking tape left next to the body sealer seams, but started by filling the rain drip rails with self leveling sealer. The bodyman/neighbor suggested an early 7AM start to take advantage of cooler temperatures, something needed for the self leveling to work before the epoxy hardened. By 8AM there was still no sign of him so I started without him. And by 8:30 I was done. Turned out to be a non-issue, as all that was needed was to hold the trigger on the gun down long enough to supply a large bead of the stuff, and it sloooooooly oozed out to very evenly cover the floor of the drip rail. I used all of one cartridge, running out on the last four feet. The last bit of sealer came out with bubbles, and those froze in the epoxy, so I had to pop them and then cover them with material from the new tube. But that was the only wrinkle. Can't blame my friend for wanting to sleep in, as he does this all week and if I were him the last thing I'd want to be doing at seven o'clock on a Sunday morning is working on someone else's van.
Hope everyone's week gets off to a great start!
