JD, I was raised near "the palm of my right hand" and if your area is anything like where we lived I am not the least bit surprised to hear of your notice. Dad still lives up there, but now closer to the "wrist" of the hand but his township is similarly on the looney side.

What is a "noxious weed" anyways? I thought a weed is anything growing where you don't want it to. :laughing: If there are noxious weeds, then there must be pleasant and helpful weeds too--to avoid redundancy, or an oxymoron.

62*F tonight and it never did rain today; it just looked like it would any minute now all afternoon. 60% chance tonight and tomorrow, 100% chance tomorrow night. We'll see ....

Six hours of bush hogging trails today. My neck is a little stiff and my brain is shaken, not stirred.

70 with 88 and t-storms on the way.
Ran our Mantis tiller 3 hours straight in the garden yesterday. This is the third time this season I've had to do this. Learned a lesson from last summer - went on vacation in late August and the weeds grew tall...most all of the vegetables were finished, so we didn't get around to weeding - well, they went to seed, and it's amazing how many seeds the grasses and noxious weeds

can generate. Now we find out after every big rain.

Looks like a good day to catch up with the clutter in the garage. The 'stuff' reproduces while you aren't looking. :laughing: There are a couple of charity yard sales around here each summer, and every year I find stuff to donate.
