That is one reason I try and keep some cash squirreled away in my vehicles.Went to pay at chipotle and no wallet. Ran out and borrowed cash from my son, barely had enough. lol.
That’s what happens when you go out early to warm up and clean off the car.
that makes me chuckle because yesterday I slid open part of center console that normally is shut and foundThat is one reason I try and keep some cash squirreled away in my vehicles.
I hadn't thought of that but yes it would be a decent small load for the generator, as I understand it would be about a 32 amp load on the 240 volt output.Lou, good pic of an EV next to a tractor pto generator!
that would be a good way to exercise the IH
It used to be done frequently, supposedly it's against "code" now days. It can create draft issues with either unit if the one not in use has a open draft it will kill the draft to the working unit. It is also possible to get fumes into the house from the not in service unit.Just ran out and got the mail, wind is cold again. Hit mid 30s but now mid 20s and dropping as the sun is about to set.
spent afternoon reviewing lawyer papers for a pipeline at the farm. Money not worth it for the hassle is my opinion, will see what my sister says. other siblings haven't chimed in as interested to help.
Another sister sent pics last night where a plumber working in their house yesterday knocked their furnace exhaust pipe loose where it enters the chimney. Interesting piece is they have a wood stove also in the basement that joins with the oil furnace exhaust and it shared the chimney. Never saw that. Anyway, told her to put RTV cement and seal the pipe up. She used duct tape. I said, don't get that hot...... I know she was only trying to get thru the night, but......
The furnace has a draft balancer inline, that apparently opens and shuts to admit air to keep the draw going. I know nothing about those, except what I read last night.
They knocked the stove pipe right out of the back of the stove.
She didn't notice until after plumbers left. I would have called them back to fix it. What they charged her to replace a simple 2" drain from their kitchen sink, wow.
they dont use the wood stove often. Has anyone seen an oil burner and a woodstove pipe together and share a chimney? Don't look right to me.
post a pic of that in the generator thread pleaseI hadn't thought of that but yes it would be a decent small load for the generator, as I understand it would be about a 32 amp load on the 240 volt output.
I may try that the next time I run her to warm up and charge up.
I hope she's doing well after surgery, but sure hope no one was chowing down on their link sausage and runny eggs during that part of the conversation. The talk at breakfast yesterday, was one’s sister had a gut opening 6 hr surgery the day before, where they had to remove part of pancreas, rearrange organs, etc. said she came out of surgery with tubes everywhere. But doing ok so far.
Drove my son to his haircut. Waiting in cold vehicle. Roads are fine.
