Front Wheel Drive not working on FX265D

On my Yanmar FX265D, the front wheel drive is not working correctly. When you engage it (confirmed) with the double lever, the front wheels will turn slowly, but there is no torque. With the tractor on jacks, with engine on, and front wheel drive engaged, you can stop the tires from spinning with you hand. With engine off, and in gear still, you can sping the tires freely. Front drive shaft moves also If in sand, or mud, with FWD engaged, rear tires spin and front tires do not.
I was told there may be a shear pin that broke, but do no see one on the diagram that Aaron from Hoye faxed. Any ideas guys (or gals)...Thanks.

If the front drive shaft is moving, but the wheels aren't, then either the shaft is spinning somewhere, or you have a problem in the differential. I have heard of a few cases where the bolts holding the ring gear backed out and caused similar problems.

I don't think you are going to diagnose the problem without disassembly. If you have the parts diagram - it should serve as a guide. Just go slowly and carefully. These tractors are really pretty simple mechanically.
