My Ford 5000 3 point hitch is stuck in the up position. Had been in shed for several months before I started it. Seems to be solid. No movement at all.

Welcome to TBN!! If you've not already done so try opening the lowering speed valve. It's usually a knob or lever between your feet or just behind them.

Tried the control speed valve and bypassing the remote hydraulic system to circulate oil but still no go. Oil pressure ok.

The three point goes up from hydraulic pressure. The down motion is gravity only. If you can't get it down with weight on the arms you may have an internal leak around the control valve forcing it up.

OKAY Looks like I'll have to lift top off and start checking it all out. Thanks
