And it's to say that Monday I purchased a MF 1533 shuttle shift, 1525FEL, pallet forks, and MF 5' medium duty brush hog. Will be looking for a used landscape rake, harrow, and back blade in the near future

Thanks for all the information that was posted here. I was dead set on either green or orange (L3300, 3130, or JD3220) but, after reading the posts here, I figured I had at least better go check out the Massey tractors before I made a decision. I never made it off their lot and closed the deal within an hour. Was supposed to be delivered this afternoon but, dealer found a bolt missing on the loader and I had a really tight window today. So, will be delivered tomorrow. I told him to cut me a deal on a gooseneck flatbed and I'd save him the trouble. But, the wife's evil eye told me otherwise. :D

I was sold on the higher loader capacity, what looked to me to be better build quality (good welds, thicker materials, a little less plastic), and after driving the shuttle shift around their lot realized I could easily live with not having hydro. Not to mention I saved quite a bit of money over the others.

I was most impressed with the dealer as well. He said business is exploding for him the last year and by the looks of thier newly remodeled showroom and shop, it showed. Seems that a lot of folks here have problems with the local JD dealer, in the fact that if you didn't spend $100k+ they could care less about you. Local Kubota dealer seemed good to work with but, was sure proud of their product based on their pricing.

Again, thank you all for the help. I know pics are required and will be up when I have a chance.

Thanks.

The hardest part now is knowing I'm working 5 graveyards in a row and won't have time to go out and put it to work.

That would be a real bummer having all that new equipment and not being able to get on it for a few days. When you do get all of us some pictures of the tractor and your attachments. Is you pallet forks MF?

Will do on the pictures. It'll be dropped off today at 3:30pm. I do believe that the pallet forks are MF.

Sounds a lot like my experience. I wasn't shopping for hydro, but the power shuttle convinced me I didn't want to buy a regular gear tractor. And the MF was just flat out nicer than the others I tried, and a better deal. Can't beat that.

Enjoy your new ride - we'll be looking forward to the pics!

Oh and if you don't mind, how much $$ were the forks?

To answer the other question...yes, they are the MF forks. And I believe they ran somewhere in the $700's.

Steeldust, Good luck with your new tractor, I hope you enjoy it! We've had our 1533 for about 9 months now and it's been a great tractor! You will really like the shuttle shift on it and the low gear range. The only problems we've had have been dealer related but it sounds like you found a great dealer to deal with. John

You'll like your new 1533. I'm really pleased with mine, had it for 2 months now. I was also dead set on orange. Money and a test drive do wonders. Hope you get to use it a lot.
