Some K dealers have filter sales in February. My local dealers stock parts and even oddball parts come in within a day or so. I'd rather pay a little more and get the service and reward my local dealer with the business.

Good luck with your flea-bay or mystery amazon vendor selling their mystery wares from china/india. Penny wise and pound foolish to go skimping on relatively cheap maintenance items that can end up costing me $$$$$ in repairs and down time.
Doing the pm on my truck this afternoon found my rather expensive air filter purchased at a local carquest and the one I replaced before was made in China. Anyways been kind of burned before buying cheap parts online due to mediocre descriptions and wrong part numbers that's why I asked more knowledgeable folks if they have purchased filter bundles online. Knowing I wasn't looking at genuine Kubota filters. However after Input from a few on knockoffs and qaulity etc, I guess you don't really know what your buying in terms of filters unless it's from a known reputable company that's been around awhile e-commerce or brick and mortar.

I use the filter cross reference the OP posted then find name brand part numbers (typicaly US made filters) then type them into ebay. Theres alot of new filters people have sitting on a shelf and throw up on there.

If it's for a piece of equipment I'm planing on keeping I typicaly buy a case of oil filters. I do have a few pieces of equipment that share the same oil filter even though there not the same engine make.

So replaced all filters with genuine Kubota filters/ aftermarket fluids. There is a Peace of mind knowing what I bought is correct and works like it's supposed to. Btw a Kubota l 4150 or 3750 takes over 45 qts of trans hydraulic fluid. Got to test my homemade drain pan still overfilled, my diy welds held up ok fortunately, however I still made a mess and had to put plugs in mid drain my calculations for liquid volume capacity using an old drum was off lol. 600 hrs I'll do it again.

Lets see, my M9's hold just under 15 gallons each so if one gallon is 4 quarts times 15, that is 60 quarts, give or take. Why I use a plasma cut big truck aluminum fuel tank with welded on (TIG) handles. The Chevron THF synthetic I use is getting pretty expensive too. Currently $121 a pail. I can not only drain the gearcases but the sumps as well on one shot.

Only money. $121 x 6 ain't chump change.

I like to drain mine on the gravel out front of the shop, that way if any spills, it just keeps the dust down. I like your bung / valve idea. I may have to do that. Now, I just prop the half full fuel tank on a block and use a gallon plastic jug to get the oil out which goes in the empty 5 gallon pails and off to my friendly recycler.

Just ordered a couple 5's from the local NAPA. Seems they now carry Chevron THC.

Looks to me (from your pictures) that it's getting time for a sheet metal repaint. The Rustoleum (in rattle cans or pints if you want to spray it) is a dead match for Orange 2. Orange 1 is a dead match with Majic paint, rattle cans or pints again and the Majic hardener is compatible with both.

Why I own 2 identical Kubota's (other than one is an open station and the other is a cab). All filters and lubricants interchange. My dealer always has my filters in stock, glad of that.

Ran Napa premium hydraulic transmission fluid before. Seems I have easier shifting with both tractors after I switched to Mystic hydraulic trans fluid both are udt fluid compatible per manufacturers, might try Chevron thc if I find a good deal on it. I do occasionally use Napa Gold filters but they aren't much different in price than OEM Kubota filters. Udt fluid must have gold flakes in it lol, and imo is a unnecessary expense for my old gear driven tractors, found amazing deals with mystic brand fluids occasionally, also servicing them close to specs is probably helpful to keep them running.

Nope not me I'll never paint my inexpensive, used, rusted beat up relics. Id rather spend my time mechanically maintaining or using them and not worried about accidentally scratching or denting it. Plus I can add non conventional, sometimes not recommended by most (accessories) to utilize it better for what I want it to do and not worry about resale on it lol.

Never used anything but Chevron (after the initial change many moons ago). I like the cold weather flowability of it and as an added plus, it comes dyed orange of all things so it's easy to see on the dipstick. Problem is, it's not a cheap date, even costs more than SUDT at my dealer but SUDT is clear and hard to see on the dipsticks, especially for my old tired eyes.

I was buying it from my local jobber (in Toledo) until I found out that NAPA has it.

I only change my gearcase oil every 2 years anyway and that also applies to the front axle and I run 85-140 GL5 in that.

The THC exceeds the Kubota SUDT specs.
