the work done and the rate of productivity, may lead to more

Ill be at it again wednesday finishing up,
Ill play around a little with cutter speed and keep you posted

I like the suggestion of dressing up track marks as you go

Hey as long as it works this day in time simple is better in a world that complicated. When I buy a ex may get up with u to help me build a pack for mine.

Lumberjack,

So far only 145 hrs on the system, cutter head and pack have been flawless.
Hard to keep it busy in this region.
Most of my work has been with local county fire doing fuel brakes. But that been limited due to concerns
for wildlife and habitat destruction, wood rats, mice, lizards etc. I guess they aren't affected by wildfire...

I'm contemplating a power pack for my 13klb excavator.

Have you found the additional weight/tail swing hard to work around/with? The weight should increase stability and help offset some of the swing torque on hills.
