It's along the lines of re-inventing the wheel. Either I spend 5 minutes typing an explanation or you type in three letters and hit <enter>.

I Googled EWG and then went to the farm subsidy database and found you can search by county and find the names of everyone in your county who has received subsidies in the last 10 or 15 years and how much and what for.

I was surprised to know so many of the individuals and the amounts they received.

So I meet you in the store and you ask "What do you think of XYZ?" and I ask "What is XYZ?" and you tell me to look it up. Not a real good way to get people interested in your concerns. I'm just sayin'.

I also get tired of being sent to the library when someone uses an unfamiliar acronym.

I don't need to be taught how to fish, or look something up on Google, but if you want me to particiapte in your thread, the least you can do is tell me what it is about.

To me it sounds like a couple of guys who have made it their life's work to scare people and/or piss them off... AKA Lobbyists.
