I was welding today with 6010 so I change the hook up to 6010 another hole to plug the cable into, for some reason I did not get any spark does any one know why?
I have no idea how it works. All I know, is it works great!:cool2::cool2::cool2::cool2:Not sure if that helped anyone's understanding.
Can someone answer this question... why can't I find any 6010 rods? I'll go to Tractor Supply or Matheson welding supply I only see 7018, 6011 and some others but NEVER 6010. Everyone talks about 6010. Do they require special handling? or are people stealing them and selling them on the black market?
Yes, sometimes 6010, and 6011 will dry out. Just dip them in water and let drip dry overnight, then they are good as new.Do they require special handling?
Well that was some fast information! You guys are ON this. Thanks everyone.
LOL: I use amazon for everything... but I never thought of amazon for welding supplies.
