I figured it would happen sooner or later,a limb rose up inside my back tire rim & broke off the threaded brass stem(too soft a metal for this purpose). I lost a few gal. of fluid but did catch it in time to roll the stem on top.
If this happens to you a new part is about $15 & a few days to find one maybe. I fixed mine a different way without taking the tire off. I had enough stem sticking out to rethread the hollow tube & threaded a special stem back in place. My warning to those who might drive thru brush or over large limbs on the ground, weld a steel cup over these fragile stems on both rear rims(my fronts have this feature)

I hope you didn't load the back tires without tubes these tractors come tubeless from the factory

Why?I loaded my tubeless tires with W/W fluid.If I pick-up a nail I can still plug it.Are you concerned about rust?.....Mike

If they are loaded with calcium.Yes I would worry about rust people used to load lawn mower tires without tube only lasted about a year

Ok, I welded a nice ring around each stem so I am safer I think. I see Tractor Supply carries the top part of the stem
for under $4. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
