Great work Colcreate. When you built rear bucket assembly you could have contacted me, I would be happy to help with geometry to achieve full 180 deg movement of the bucket without guessing the distances. For the outriggers I believe the folding type would give you great stability and compact design. Something like Huddig uses..

I've skimmed through the thread again but didn't see how big of a hydraulic motor you used for the drive. Do you remember how big it was? Also are you putting good power to your wheels? Do you think you could tow something heavy or are you just able to drive around?

The hydraulic motor is a 160cm3/rev and the overall gear reduction at the wheels is something like 12:1 in Low and 6:1 in high which in theory gives speeds of 3mph and 6mph. I have moved my 18ft boat trailer and also a tipper trailer with 1ton load around with ease over rough ground. The toughest task though is driving the front loader bucket into piles of dirt so low ratio only as it does struggle.
The tree stump shown in a earlier post weighed 880kg which was a ridiculous overload but it still managed to move it!
