Just got my 5065e yesterday and have 7 hrs on it. The coolant tank is above Cold about 1/2 inch when cold. It stays there when hot. I checked to radiator cap when cold and it is slammed full dripping off cap. It runs middle of Green on indicator 2 hrs into bush hogging (hot). Should the level be higher than slightly above Cold when cold.if I need to add coolant should I use JD coolant.

As long as the level is between cold and hot when cold, the level is fine. I would recommend using JD CoolGard II when you do add. CoolGard II is a 6 year/6000 hour coolant. If you add a different coolant, deere recommends changing at 2 years or 2000 hours. The CoolGard II was specially formulated to handle demands of Tier 4 emission engines.
